We went here with some friends who are big into rock climbing. They set up some routes on some small cliff faces and we climbed them with out kids. The rock faces are not tall, only 25 to 35 feet and are pretty easy so they are great for beginners and kids.

Easy place to park an rv for a couple days to enjoy the local experience. I parked just before the road got too rough for my rig.

Super interesting Pueblo, I love all the information and the fact you can actually see the mines from the trail!

The ranger helped us out with showing and giving us maps of forest roads in the area we wanted to drive on. This was nice so we didn't have to rely in technology to navigate our way through. The ranger also provided information of local points of interest, like the Pueblo Ruins, which were just added bonuses to see in the area. We've ALWAYS had positive experiences stopping at the local ranger stations to find out what's in the area that would be points of interest that could be...

The need for prescribed and controlled fires in the Sandias is not in question, but communication with the public about when the hiking trails, temporarily engulfed in smoke, will be clear needs improvement. Trails in all national forests are for public use, and timely communication with the public about closures due to smoke would be considerate of people who make plans to hike...

Called yesterday to make sure they had annual park passes available as don’t have time before upcoming Nat’l park trip to order online. Popped in this morning during business hours and the nice lady at the counter told me that the ONE person in the facility that could sell me a park pass was in a meeting. Lame. Will try Santa Fe...
