Market 45 — Attraction in New Orleans

If I could give this place a zero, I totally would. This place is EXTREMELY prejudice, my husband went to grab a few things before we went to our event, google said this place was open, the sign said this place was open, and so did the lights but the guy locked the door and refused to let my husband enter. He looked my husband in his face through the glass and told him they were closed. The clerk wouldn’t even open the door to give him the courtesy have that conversation face to face. It was we’re closed, case closed which is funny because he let the next TWO patrons who drove up right behind us, who just happen to be white, right on in. Very rude owner, impatient, and self-absorbed. Gives the good city of New Orleans and it’s people a bad name.. I don’t expect my review to effect much but needed to speak my mind about my experience at this store. I got lost in the city and when asked to give me a moment to find my way, I was approached with a nasty attitude that I was disrupting and destroying property. I assure you I didn’t damage a thing and he had all of two customers during the 20 minutes I was stuck there. I needed to go to Perlis for formalwear and thought I’d park in the Market 45 lot next door and grab a bottle of wine on my way out. The manager? came out into the parking lot, where there’s parking for more than 20 cars and only one occupied space, and rudely proceeded to tell me I couldn’t park there and that I must use the Perlis lot. I told him I planned to grab a bottle of wine on my way back out and he said that I had to buy it FIRST. I moved my car instead. What a small and rude man. I will never shop there.
