Where do I begin? I needed to adjust my original reservation, so I called in and had the date moved up. The day of check-in comes, and I notice I still hadn't received any email confirmation of the change, which was odd. Thus, I check into my Choice Privileges Member account online to confirm the adjustment only to find that whoever helped me over the phone not only moved my reservation, but somehow tacked on an extra night I never asked for and booked to the tune of nearly $350 total (thank God I caught this and didn't end up with a nonrefundable charge). I immediately called the front desk and thankfully had this rectified back to a one-night stay with email confirmation sent. When I arrived at the hotel, I was surprised upon check-in that the cost was a few dollars more than the confirmation amount listed in the new, updated email (which already reflected the taxes included on top of the base price). The front desk clerk explained that this is a "fee for every room" and I'm not the first customer to complain about the lack of transparency for the surprise add-on. Furthermore, there is NO free breakfast of any kind as advertised on Google Maps (see screenshot), only a restaurant attached to the hotel for which you have to pay for your breakfast, including coffee. On the way to my room, I noticed there was weird condensation in the walking spaces as if there was not proper flow for the A/C condensation to drain elsewhere (see photo), which could be a slip hazard, and was a bit gross for dragging my luggage through. Once I arrived at my room, it had a slightly funny smell, sort of like quick turnover apartments where fresh paint was used to cover up an issue of mold or else what. The framework in the sitting area was quite literally unattached from the wall and had an exposed nail sticking out from the back (see the attached photo). The dresser had a broken handle (see photo) and was sticking when trying to open the drawers, and there were various spots in the bathroom ceiling that looked like water damage or mold spots that had been painted over (see photo). In addition, the air conditioning unit was extremely loud coming on and shutting off with various banging noises not conducive to relaxing, especially if you're a light sleeper and noise sensitive. I was willing to overlook all of this, until I got a phone call in my room *at 4:00 a.m.* Half delirious being woken up abruptly without warning, I answered the phone only to hear an automated front desk call that this was my "requested wake up call"... Except I never requested a wake up call, and certainly not for 4:00 a.m. This was the final straw for me, especially being an insomniac who struggles to sleep in the first place. I expect more from a room that was $180, and affirmatively will not be staying here ever again, and would advise anyone with sense to seek lodging elsewhere.

There are so many people that were helped after Hurricane Helene. Initially Quality Inn was not a Fema registered hotel. As the extent the damaged by Helene was realized The Quality Inn & Suites stepped up in working with Fema and hundreds of people were given a place to stay. I was displaced as were many. But Jeff the manager and Erica talked with Fema and decided to care for the residents in Pasco County FL.

If not for them many of us would not have been given a safe place to live. I highly recommend for anyone who needs a hotel this is where you want to be. The staff were so kind and courteous. It doesn't matter what their jobs are, they made the time to help me, Housekeeping or the women in Trios restaurant are the best. Tiffany who cares for 7 children opened her heart to me.

Julie was a server and was very polite as well. Remon, the head of maintenance and housekeeping, takes excellent care of the people who stay there. Choice is redoing the property. They are renovating the entire property and Remon and his crew truly treat you like family. I had great humor with the staff.

It was just the best. I commend Quality Inn & Suites for caring for the many locals here who lost our possessions, including homes and vehicles.

If we ever have to go through another disaster I know to go to Quality Inn if I ever have to evacuate again. Oh and a shout out to Jerry and Mike who helped me in kindness and in an expeditious manner.

I can tell you the day the hotel opened it's door to displaced residents it was very hectic and customers were filled with anxiety and tension, yet the people at the front desk handled many people that day.

I go every year to Quality Inn whenever we get a warning to evacuate due to hurricanes. I will get a room there for family and friends when I can't put them up in my home.

It is centrally located and there is a beautiful heated pool and hot tub. I just felt comfortable there. I got to meet many people who are all disaster victims or the staff, The staff gave great TLC. That is the kind of help everyone needs in a crisis. Quality Inn & Suites really does care that you are welcomed and cared about.

I think they are the very best across the spectrum of surroundings hotels. You won't find nicer people than those employed by Choice.

My thanks goes to God and to the tremendous staff that pour their hearts into everything they do. Thank you to the fine staff and know you all hold a special place in my heart!

Thank you for the many known and unknown acts of kindness. Thank you for opening up your hotel to the many displaced people who would have had to stay in the shelter. Shelters can only be temporary but Choice is a very excellent hotel. They simply care and it shows in everything they do.

Many blessings upon you...
