Tower Road Park/Beach — Attraction in New Trier Township

Parked in free lot in park above the beach. Walked down steep new stairs to the beach. Not much beach between bluff and water but better than many others in the area. Found a few shady spots under some trees. Was there early morning on the first day the beach officially opened and daily admission was being charged. Lower parking area very limited. Bathrooms were good. Walked up the narrow road to get back to upper parking, to avoid steep stairs. Nice area, would return if staying...

Very nice, quiet place to take the kids and it's not packed like many other parks. There are 2 different playgrounds here, one for smaller children and one for the bigger kids right next to each other. There is also a tall sprinkler for the kids to get wet and a water playground as well.
