I am changing my review to 2 stars after repeated poor service. The food remains tasty. I think the arugula salad is terrific as well as the pizza.

Here is an example of my recent service experience. I tried to order online. After submitting the order it was rejected. I input everything again with the same result. I had to call in the order. 15" process. When I arrived at the restaurant I was told the website was turned off. I think if they turn it off, it should say as much and not lead me on. Already frustrated I was told the order would be ready early, in "a few minutes." 15" later I was told it would be 10" longer. They could see I was frustrated with the website issue and then again with being misinformed about the wait. Was there an apology or an offer to comp something? No. I got home and the order was wrong. I'm sorely...

Along with the name, there are at least 5 Robert Hunter lyric phrases on the walls. The rest of the decor was a modge podge, perhaps attempting to appeal to the artsy Winnetkans, but I was turned off. I wore my dancing bears shirt and felt a little out of place, but that's pretty much true whenever I go into Winnetka for any reason. Still, I'm taking away a star for not having at least a tour poster up somewhere.

The pizza is wonderful, cooked in a traditional oven. The thin crust is as good as Pizano's or Main Street Pizza. The salads were fresh. They used real lemon juice for their lemonade. No ice though. The hummus plate was too much garlic for me, but I'm kind of wimpy with garlic.

Overall, there are no disappointments with the food, and the pizza...

We used Grateful Bites to cater my mother's 70th birthday party this past weekend and it was unbelievable! Matt and his staff anticipated our every need and made the party an absolute success. They brought the mobile wood fired pizza oven and passed bacon wrapped dates/caprese skewers for apps and then served salmon, sausage and rapini pasta, and arugula salad for plated dinner. The guests all raved about the food! Margarita was the service lead and Dennis manned the open bar. All the staff was fantastic but these two specifically really made everything feel easy and took care of the guests until the bitter end. Cannot recommend Grateful Bites enough for their...

My first time here with friends. We sat in the back patio which was quiet and relaxing. The Margherita pizza was incredible. I could probably say, one of the best I've ever had. We also ordered "Feed Your Head" that offered garlic oil, mozzarella cheese, roasted mushrooms, goat cheese, balsamic reduction, & chives. It was good. I think it would have been great if we omitted the balsamic reduction. It took away from the flavors of the goats cheese, garlic and mushrooms. Look forward to trying their other pizzas. Jason our server was also very kind and attentive.

Soggy bottom. I picked up a triangular cut wedge, it drooped and pointed to the floor. Nice char marks on the top outside edge as you would want from a real wood fired pizza, but not even a hint of a crisp crust under the middle, and it was even a “thin” crust pizza. They may use the fire flames to quick cook the top, but they’re not moving the logs around to get the oven stones hot enough to crisp the crust. Too bad, what a glorious oven, probably very expensive. Too bad they don’t know how to use it. I won’t be back.

Delicious pizza. The pepperoni and hot honey pizza is 10/10. They even sell small bottles of home made hot honey, if you want to try adding it at home. I recommend you eat the pizza here and enjoy the great music selection. The seating is limited to about 26 with the single window table accounting for 10 of the seats. In the summer months, there are about 4 small tables outside behind the restaurant via the back door near the bathrooms. Finally, the staff are very polite.
