Casa Spazio — Local services in New Trier Township

I wasn’t asked to write this. We had a great experience with Casa Spazio. Carianne who runs the show is fantastic: she’s patient, knowledgeable, and truly goes above and beyond. She helped us choose pieces within our budget and provided a proposal that included a detailed spreadsheet of all our selections including costs and photos. The best part is she also created floor plans and renderings as part of our proposal, and sent all samples we discussed to us out of state.

We ordered a dining table, chairs, bar stools and the Limes Sofa shown in photos. All arrived from Italy exactly as expected, and everything fits perfectly. Keep in mind the lead time is around 3-5 months due to delivery from Italy. We personally like the furniture offered at Casa Spazio and Carianne made the whole process smooth...

Ordered 2 cabinets for our living room and product we received looked nothing like what was explained to us (they didn't have in store). After waiting 14 weeks for these cabinets, we received this incredibly cheap looking product. The craftsmanship is terrible (see pictures) as the doors don’t even align with the frame (note, 2 cabinets were over $1,500, you wouldn’t think they looked like someone made them without tools). We instantly told them about the issue and their response was basically “sorry, you ordered them”. These were not custom but simply a standard order for merchandise from their vendor yet they refuse to stand behind their product or recommendation and accept a return. Wasted lots of time and money dealing with this awful situation. ...
