C&D JFK Long Term Parking — Attraction in New York

TLDR: Avoid! They have 1 minivan and if they have multiple customers at that time, you will be expected to wait. We waited for 30 minutes on the way to the airport and 1 hour 40 minutes for pickup after landing, despite calling ahead of time as instructed. The “shuttle” is an old minivan and we did not feel particularly safe leaving our car in a random padlocked lot with no 24/7 surveillance. It’s worth paying the extra money to go elsewhere.

The positive reviews are either fake or from customers who were extremely lucky to have had a good experience. On the morning of our departure, we called 30 minutes prior to our arrival at the lot. When we arrived, there was no one there. We weren’t even sure if we were in the right place as there is no sign. After calling repeatedly, we were told the driver was on his way, but was pulled over. He got there about 30 minutes later and picked us up in an older minivan. As you can imagine, this was stressful, particularly with 2 toddlers, but thankfully we had extra time built into our schedule. On the way home, we called when we landed as instructed. We called about 15 minutes later to let them know we had our luggage. There was confusion as to where the pickup location was. They told us they would be there in 15 minutes once we got to the location. We had to repeatedly call and each time we were told they were 15 minutes away. An hour and 40 minutes later we were finally picked up. When we got in the car, we learned they were taking others to and from the airport. I asked if they had any sort of reservation system so they know who is departing/arriving when or more than one car, and they do not. It is “first come first serve”. They have 1 vehicle and you better hope you get their first, particularly when there is traffic. Yes you save money, but is the stress, wasted time, and the possibility of missing your flight worth it…...

We have nothing but great things to say about C&D Long Term Parking for JFK! I want to say I’m grateful for those who came before us and left reviews...it’s because of them that we felt this was the right way for us to go. We feel the rate was beyond reasonable: $96 for 8 days for a Ford Fusion. Other than calling to make our initial reservation all we had to do was get to their address and they took it from there. While you might be a little apprehensive (like we were) that you park at a residence...this is exactly what we found to put our minds at ease. No matter where you park concerning airports there is always some risk of break-ins but parking with C&D gave us the additional peace-of-mind we needed because our vehicle was locked up in their driveway (at the end of a cul-de-sac) behind their GATED privacy fence. Once we drove our car up into the driveway, we all walked around it to make notes of any current scratches/dents, paid our fee in cash (paying by credit card would have been just a little higher at $105), put our luggage in the back of the shuttle (plenty of room for a family in their Escalade) and we were off to the airport. It was such a quick and stress-free process! They just asked that we call when we landed upon our return. We called after debarking the plane and on our way to passport control. Unfortunately, the shuttle was already on their way as we found ourselves held up by the long lines and an unforeseen issue. We felt badly that they had to wait longer than expected but our overall experience with C&D was exactly as we hoped/imagined based on customer reviews and pics of the parking area! C&D Parking is the best kept secret for parking at JFK. I was a little skeptical when I found them on Yelp. But the reviews made me "take a chance" the first time I used them. This is my second time using them, because after the first time I knew I would never use another parking service at JFK.

This is not a conventional, big company, commercial parking service. It's a small operation run by "Charles" - and that is the beauty of it! Once you can get comfortable with the fact that his parking service is a little bit unconventional, you will find that it's AWESOME!

You drop you car off at Charles' small, private, fenced/locked lot, and they take you directly to your terminal in their Mercedes van within 5 minutes of your arrival. Because it's a small operation, you usually are the only customer in the van. The rates are extremely reasonable.

Upon your return flight, you just text Charles when you land, and then one of his drivers comes and picks you up curbside in your own car! You just put your bags in your own car and you are on your way home - no return to the lot! No shuttle to deal with when you just can't wait to get back on the road and get home!

You car will be well taken care of. Charles and his team are extremely trustworthy and super friendly. Fast, friendly, convenient, great value, easy to deal with, no crowds - just a great service. You will not be disappointed if you use C&D! I just hope Charles doesn't grow the business too big! It's perfect...
