The food in this place is delicious but their biggest down fall is the people in it, these so call ladies be having the nastiest attitude like somebody pissed in their cereal in the morning .the first time I came there was a lady that treated me alright and then I I came in for a second time and this older lady had the meanest attitude she told me that she was not putting extra plantains on my plate because she already put 2 plantains and if I wanted one more I had to order 8 more pieces separately like seriously what kind of daughter of a đŸ€Ź gone say that to a client !! mind you the first time I went in I spent $50 and I was willing to spend another 50 the second time and the lady treated me horribly so I walked out my whole point is if I’m paying my money why are you clocking how much food I want or should get ?? like you’re the one that’s ordering the food and paying . Very unprofessional these ladies need to leave their problems at home and not bringing the attitude with it to their jobs cause that’s how you lose clients !! Would never go back there . there are so many Jamaican restaurants like this one or even better that for sure won’t treat their customers the way that the lady treated me and I’m pretty sure it was also jelousy she sensed I was a pretty sweet girl so she had to come off that way to...

Trash! I recently placed an order through Caviar aka doordash and when I received the order: The Food was extremely COLD I specifically asked the restaurant to not add gravy on my meal, only to receive my meal drenched in gravy. Salad was brown and not fresh. 4.Mac and cheese was just top level cheese with no macaroni. Rice was overly cooked, soft and watery. I spent 21.00 and the food was thrown in the the trash. The meal wasn't edible and not fit for a dog. Called the restaurant, spoke to someone who claimed to be a manager, He was very disrespectful, rude and disgusting. He was very argumentative and refuse to take accountability. Making excuses and projecting....not to mention hung the phone 3 times and claim it was me...like I said no accountability not even for that. No apologies, no how can we make it right, just back and forth banter. Refuse to except the the food was trash. There are several locations and unfortunately this is the locations that doordash/ ubereats have assigned me, he even argued about that too. It was embarrassing. I will never order from this particular restaurant again, I might not order from this franchise completely. Customers beware buy at your own risk. Customer service is poor and the food is not worth 2 cents. There are many other locations. Stay far away...

honestly have been here a few times. Always had a pleasant experience and their food is tasty, no doubt. However today i’m a bit disappointed that i had ordered 18 chicken patties (12 jerk and 6 regular)
. my order was repeated to them over 8 times and yet i got only 12 regular. I asked the girl checking me out four times to make sure she’s got the order right with 12 jerk and 6 regular and she said yes and nodded her head every time i asked her. i would’ve figured the order to be correct after that many times of me repeating my order .

UPDATE. 9/23 Two days ago i was also at the bakery and ordered two birthday cakes for a joint surprise party. I gave them the names to write on the cakes and instructed them which names go on the cakes. one cake was mocha (for a kid named Anson) and the other was vanilla(for a girl named Aliyah)
the bakery had messed up and swapped the cake flavors between the two. Also, instead of writing “happy birthday aliyah” they wrote “happy birthday mocha”
. They didn’t think to double check the slip of paper that we had the order written. I had sent my dad to a pick up the cake and they didn’t realize until they were home that a mistake had been made. I’m VERY disappointed.

UPDATE 9/24 I had them fix the cake at no...

I rarely leave comments but I have to. I LOVE oxtails but unfortunately, I can't handle spice so it's usually hard for me to find a place that sells really good/seasoned oxtail without my mouth being on fire. There was no mild option on uber eats so I just put it in the special instructions and thankfully they listened. 20/10 the oxtails were delicious, perfectly seasoned and not spicy AT ALL. I ordered a beef patty as a back up in case it wound up being spicy so I ate that too, patty was flaky and delicious, the cocoa bread was incredibly soft. all in all, i will be ordering again!

Jamaica Flavors on Farmers Blvd in Queens offers a taste of the Caribbean that's worth a visit. I tried the chicken patty, which was decent but could have had more flavor and seasoning. My husband ordered the jerk chicken wings, and he really enjoyed them—they were spicy and packed with that signature jerk flavor. Overall, it was a good experience with a cozy atmosphere and friendly service. While some dishes could use a little improvement, we left satisfied and would definitely come back to explore more of the menu!

The attitudes on these people, disgusting. They have zero customer service skills, for the type of establishment they have. They need to invest on the training of staff and their hiring process. Distasteful, they will never get my $1 again. I have had one too many disapproving interactions with different staff on random occasions. I always loose my appetite each exchange.
