Not much of a park. Can’t throw a frisbee or play volleyball here. A few benches with a winding stream where various mallards swim carelessly. It’s off the beaten path and connected to a small park ideal for toddlers to age 5. About a block away is the other part of the park but did not visit. Two cats possibly feral hissed at me and a Scottish terrier tried to hump my leg.

I think this was a beautiful park, it was empty of children playing on the play ground Idk if thats due to covid or due to the extreme heat 🌞☀️but the duck pond was gorgeous 😍 and very calming walked around the trail 👣

Quiet place for an evening walk. The park seems divided into two non-contiguous segments. I explored the one between Goodall and Wiman on this trip. Very pleasant. Has a beach as well.

This is a nice little beach area on the Island of Staten. It can definitely use some maintenance as the concrete pier jutting into the water lacked beach appeal. Lots of open shells indicate a lot of birds use that concrete "pier" for eating. The houses along the beach are undergoing some construction taking away some of the natural beauty of the shoreline. Once summer hits though it should be a nice little area to walk along the water at night. The view is beautiful and a small island isn't too far off the shoreline. ...

A complete nightmare. Staten Island had so much potential. I have lived here for fifty years, and I have seen most of the beaches eroded into the sea. Furthermore I have seen the ends of streets going to the beach gated off like they are private property by homeowners who cannot be stopped. Federal law says the shore of an island must have complete and unfettered access for public use. As of now there are miles of fenced in beach, unavailable for use, and it does not look like it will change within...

Still under some major construction but really look like it will be a relaxing nature park once again! I have been around since it was nothing but cat tails, punks and tad poles! And I am glad they kept a lot of the natural element of the beach and didn't turn it into a flaming hot tar mat! Although maybe instead of so many swings and slides maybe they can put some exercise equipment stations throughout the paths so maybe on our nature walks we can earn some rock hard abs!!! All...
