Previous reviews notwithstanding, this writer's assessment of this establishment begs to differ from them. During a recent visit, the following was enjoyed:

  1. Inattentive waiters (had to repeatedly ask for dinnerware and necessary amenities such as butter, bread, linen napkins, etc.) - the butter delivered was frozen solid, couldn't be spread on anything
  2. Wrong orders brought to the table
  3. One waiter asks if anyone "wants pepper" then proceeds to administer it to ONE guest and walk away, not recognizing the other guests who also indicated they would like some pepper. One guest orders soup and has to call the waiter back to ask for a SPOON so it can be consumed
  4. When dinner finally arrives at the table, several guests reported that the food (veal, etc.) was burnt and inedible. Likewise, the pasta appeared to have been cooked repeatedly and was bland, tasteless and inedible
  5. When cheese was asked for, the waiter "judiciously" handed out the cheese as if it was powdered GOLD and frankly, looked like it was (looked very similar to the cheese you get in the large green canisters from Costco or other stores) - not real cheese, more like sawdust
  6. Now it's dessert time - some guests order coffee, others tea - again, wrong orders brought to the table and two (2) guests received nothing until they had to remind the waiter(s) that they were still waiting
  7. Different waiters assigned and / or waiting on our table, obviously one not talking to the other

Note: It was not particularly busy at the time of this visit, the establishment was about 60% occupied so NO excuse for the poor service and even poorer food quality. This could be a case of YMMV but for this writer (and group) we will SKIP this establishment in the future, opting for much better and well-established Italian eateries within Staten Island as well as...

It was a very unpleasant dinning experience. the food was ok but the waiter that serve us was very rude and arrogant. He can careless about service, gave us the dirty plate and wilted lime; and when we tried to order, he just came up to ask "are you guys ready to order? " without introducing himself, we didn't get his name or any greeting at all! When I asked for suggestions, he did not mention any specials, just told us "you can do it the Italian way, just order pasta first and then have the entree" we ordered some appetizer, grill salmon and the lamb chop; I told him that I try to limited carbs, and I would like to order more protein dishes. but he just keep repeating the something about "do it the Italian way, order the pasta first". He repeated it at lest 3 times even after I told him I'm not trying to get carbs. I don't understand why he tried to sell the pasta so badly, but instead of saying "how good the pasta is, and worth a try", he keep telling us to "do it the Italian way". that's very unprofessional and very poor selling/service skill. I wish he told us about the tomahawk steak, I saw our next table had it and it smells really good. the grill salmon that we got was ok, farm rise salmon so had enough fat in it, was not dry. but wish he told us what sauce it came with. the lamb chop was pretty tender, did grilled to the medium-rare that I asked for. Overall, the food was ok; location just alright; it's by Hyland Blvd, so it's kind of noisy and no view. however, the service was the worst part. It's the most unwelcoming Italian restarting that I've even been to. I always think they're very passionate and friendly. I guess it's just one bad apple. I'm sure there're more good restaurants with friendly staff...

Some friends and I recently went to this restaurant for lunch. We have been there a couple of times before and we liked the food very much, but we were very disappointed with the service. The waiter was very rude and disrespectful to me and my friends. We ordered two meals from the prix fixe lunch menu and the rest from the Ala Carte menu. When we ordered, some of the items had changed from the last time I was there, so I asked for help from the waiter to make sure he knew what I wanted. He got upset with me and didn't want to help. The veal I ordered ended up coming in a completely different style than I wanted. When the bill came it was itemized and not based on the prix fixe. We complained and they adjusted the bill, but then increased it again after we already paid. The waiter was rude and disrespectful. In addition, the waiter's clothes were dirty and smelly. I will not return to this place and I am telling all of my friends to avoid this restaurant and go to a different place with...

I should’ve taken more photos but the excitement of the hot food just consumed me :-). As we arrived the valet was quick and attentive. Upon entering we were greeted by the lovely hostess Natalie who walked us to our awaiting reserved table. As we sat our waiter immediately greeted us and took our drink order which followed by Appetizers a delicious gourmet dinner and dessert (which the owner gave us on the house, not at all expected:-) In the photo is the fresh baked Nutella filled Pizza straight from the in the dining area pizza oven. We actually felt like we were in a 5 star restaurant, anywhere you turned your head there was a waiter waiting to assist you. Actually with my review it will be a 5 ⭐️:-) We will definitely come here again and try out their other dishes on the menu. (My dinner was mushroom ravioli with a hint of truffle oil. This dish Should be their signature. It was OMG to die for. Good job chef!)

Upscale Restaurant and worth it. The service was excellent 👌, and the food was fresh from Antipasto, pasta, fish, vegetables, and desserts. Had the vegetable tower, mozzarella w pepper olives, arugula dizzed in w vinegar. Also had the octopus grilled so tender. The fried calamari was another delight. Dinner was Ravioli's with shrimp and a cream sauce with tomatoes. My brother had the pasta w Lobster & shrimp in a champagne sauce. The portions were a large great for the next day. The spaghetti with meat sauce was another dish that was delicious, great the the kids. Ate the Tiramisu and tasted the cheesecake. Had malbac wine, along w my dish, plenty of cocktails to pick from. Sorry about not photoing. I couldn't help but dig in. The portions are worth the price. Reservations recommended, take the valet parking.
