Seaside Wildlife Nature Park may be on the smaller side, but it’s a peaceful little escape from the busy streets of Staten Island. It’s a great spot to take your dog for a walk and get some fresh air, and there’s also a small playground area for kids to enjoy. They’re currently building new bathrooms, which will be a nice upgrade.

One of my favorite parts of the park is the small wooden bridge that goes over the marsh — it’s a quiet, scenic spot that makes you feel tucked away from the city. In the summertime, if you look closely near the rocks, you can sometimes spot snakes and salamanders, which is a cool bonus for nature lovers. Overall, it’s a cozy, underrated park perfect for a calm...

If you need a quiet place to clear your head this park is the way to go. With some wildlife animals stay along the shore. Benches are scattered all around the park. They have a sand pit. They have swings and much more to keep your little ones entertained. The park is beautiful and even has a wooden path that has gorgeous views of the water around it. There are two entrances to the park. There is plenty of parking along the street. Right up the block is a gas station and a Dunkin Donuts. Delis across the street. If you haven’t checked this park out you’re missing out. Go for a walk or jog or run. This place is a safe place to do any activity your...

Seaside Wildlife Nature Park is a hidden gem for nature lovers and families alike. Nestled along the shoreline, the park offers a peaceful escape with beautiful views of the water and surrounding greenery. It's a great spot for walking, birdwatching, or simply enjoying the fresh air. The park has well-maintained trails and a variety of wildlife, making it a fun and educational experience for kids and adults. There are also picnic areas, a playground, and kayaking opportunities, adding to its appeal as a family-friendly destination. The tranquil setting and natural beauty make Seaside Wildlife Nature Park a perfect spot for a relaxing...

Lovely park, restrooms being built on the site. Has an adjunct small boardwalk through a salt marsh. Additionally, a nautically themed playground locals call Pirate Park is adjacent to the large field and walking loop of the main park. Many people bring dogs to walk in this park. There are a lot of dog poop smears marking the walking loop, it's residue left after owners pick up their dog's poop. There is a lovely view of the water here by Great Kills harbor. There are swans that visit by the water near to Pirate Park.

We've been going to this park for years and we love it! I took a star because it's never had a bathroom and still doesn't but they are building one next year, can't wait!! So for those with kids, it's wonderful but since there is water right next to the park/playground, you need to be extra vigilant with your kids, especially those prone to wander We love feeding the ducks, geese and swans...lettuce, cabbage, etc bread and similar are not good for them, it's more like junk food
