D&E Driving School, Inc — Attraction in New York

I would give it zero stars if I Could. The staff here is unprofessional, ignorant and incompetent. There so many things wrong about this place. First they came late to ALL SIX of my lessons. ON one occasion they even blamed me for being late, the irony. There office smells like weed and cigarette SMOKE and there cars are even worse. All the workers there smoke it's brutal. I sat in the car waiting 10 minutes for the guy named INJOY to finish smoking to start my driving lesson which he also arrived late for. There president called to confirm my road test a couple days prior days to the road test. Come road test they call and said THAT I WAS the ONE who called to have it cancelled which was a lie. The president called later and admitted that it was there mistake and not mine and that a intern might of cancelled my road test by accident. They did offer to take me to another borough and i got to take my road test a month after which is nonsense because I lost a month of time for no reason. They even offered me one extra lesson which led to the 6 TOTAL lessons I mentioned earlier. They called to confirm my second road test and they forget to mention i needed my 5 HOUR CERTIFICATE, more nonsense I know. So when I got to the office they said its another 20$ for The FIVE HOUR CERTIFICATE. So they just wanted money by "conveniently" forgetting to mention I needed the five hour certificate for the road test when they called to confirm. The day of the road test the driver drove me to Staten Island for the road test. It's the fat short one with the beard kind of darker skinned, bengali one. He said on the phone while driving might I add that "You stuck me here with this bs." He said it loud making sure I heard as I sat in the back of the car. Real nice I know. Listen I don't always complain but this is place is COMPLETE nonsense. If you want to waste your hard earned MONEY, TIME and possibly develop Asthma and Lung cancer this is the place for you. Update: 11/26/17 I’ll admit you did wait but you did nothing but repeatedly mention that a new certificate costs $20. The reset wasn’t 10 days the person I spoke to said the latest they could do was a month later...

Each one help one ! This is the ONLY driving school that’s willing to see another driving school prosper. Why Make such a statement ! The last school I worked for refused to show me the ropes when I first opened my school because they said I am now their Competitor . A school I known for 15 years ... not just known them , the owner was my best friend whom inspired me to open my own school but refused to help me when I took his game plan serious. When I opened my school D&E Driving School was the only School came to my rescue. These guys helped me every step of the way. The funny thing is that I didn’t know them from a hole in the wall. I was introduced to Injoy at the road test line and we both kept in contact. Injoy did not care about competition all he cared about was HELPING and LIFTING another person . Injoy is god sent into my life . If i call Injoy at 3am he will answer his phone. Actually I called Injoy right after surgery and he replied promptly helping me not knowing he was out on sick leave . Two days later I saw his brother on the road test line ... when i asked for Injoy the brother said Injoy had surgery two days ago he will be out of commission for the next two weeks. I said to myself “ what a god sent person replying to me even when he’s not well “ ....

Students & Parents when choosing a school take a good look of the leaders . The president, The managers etc

Don’t go off every negative review placed on Google. Some negative reviews comes from competition rather than students . As a business owner we pride ourself in our service we provide to each and every student.

Every student that set foot through the doors of D&E Driving School are treated the same way they treat me a complete stranger.

These guys heart is not on your pockets like most Driving Schools in the area . Their heart is one of Helping ....

They never once made it on time to pick me up for my driving classes (I had purchased 5 classes). This business is run by young and highly unprofessional people. Poor customer service. Lack of professionalism. The place itself smells of marijuana and wet dog. Its disgusting. I would never recommend for someone to spend their money in this place.

Update: Needless to say that I didnt pass my driving test, as if my experience with them wasn't bad enough. I scheduled another test on my own after I failed my driving test. I scheduled it in August for the 21st of October. I went to go take my exam when they tell me that my name wasn't coming up on their system. When I sign into the website it said that on Sept. 14 someone modified my appointment and rescheduled it for nov4. It wasn't me. And the only other people that have my learners information is them. The supervisor of the testers told me It had to have been the driving school that changed it. I guess that was a form of retaliation for...
