One of the best skateparks I’ve visited in New York. There’s a variety of street transitions that work smoothly. I visited other skateparks in the past however the size of far rockaway blows me away every time I visit. The bowl is one of my favorites and let alone the skatepark is located directly next to the beach. So after a session you can just go for a swim.
You don’t have to travel too far to get good eats also. There are restrooms nearby that are updated and cleaned on the hour by the parks dept representatives.

Lots of transition, manageable for beginners but experts would love it. Really cool low metal ledge down a ramp right in the middle of the park. The 6 stair and accompanying rail are mad Street League. When we went this place was packed with local little kids on all things with wheels(LKW’s). There you can do your skateboarding, you can use the boardwalk to roller skate, the handball ring to flex and tone your arms, the basketball court to work on your skills, and even a playground for the kids. There is also few restaurants, and a supermarket a step away. There is something for everyone. To top it off, everything is all close to the beach.
