Homes For the Homeless — Attraction in New York

I lived there back in 1988-1989. The Saratoga was the best shelter to live in in the whole NYC! The building was white back then. I went to my first and only sleep away camp, camp dear trail and camp hadenmarks. The Saratoga had a recreation room in the basement and they cooked real food in the cafeteria! The security guards were called safety, LML! As a kid safety/guards would chase us around the building and If u would get caught, that's a write up and to many write ups = being kicked out and back to the EAU in China town to get placed somewhere else! I know it changed alot and it's not as clean as it use to be! I wonder what happened to my friends I meet there........ MEMORIES/...

The staff argue amongst each other. the workers that watch the kids are super aggressive especially with kids they know aren’t goin to tell their parents. their laundry room only takes quarters no quarter machine tho and hardly any stores to get quarters. you have to take your child everywhere no matter their age. you can hear other couples fighting damn near everyday. You can only have a microwave anything else they will take. If hell...
