Key Food Supermarkets — Attraction in New York

There really is no customer service. I specifically accompanied my 82 year old mother to the supermarket because Wednesday is Senior Day Discount. Clearly, my mother looks like a senior. However, the cashier did not give my mother, who lives on a fixed income, the Senior Day Discount. Apparently, I found out later, unless one mentions it at check out. The cashier didn't care about it. And yet walking about the supermarket, I felt I was walking through the geriatrics wing of an "Olds Folks Home." There were so many older shoppers there, it would have been difficult, it not practically impossible to forget it. Once the cashier scanned all the groceries, she didn't even offer to help bag them. Going from bad to worse, she had the nerve to throw my mother and me a shady look because we weren't moving fast enough to pack the groceries. Also asking the aisle stock employees for the price on a product, with the incredulous expression on his face as if I had just asked him to donate one of his kidneys to me. And the last thing I'll say about this particular supermarket, my mother's coin purse all of a sudden disappeared when checking out. She remembers placing it on the conveyer belt, and when she looked down it was gone. The manager didn't even bother to come talk to us about the incident. The manager not meeting with reveals how incompetent he is. The travesty is, this is the closest option residents have...

Everything is well organized and easy to look for. You will find most if not all daily household necessities. However, the Fruit Section isn’t quite impressive. They aren’t alway fresh. The store always offers sale on different items. Last time I visited, I bought dessert cake which didn’t have any manufacture or expiration date; but it was good. They are increasing size of their facility which is welcomed. In addition, they do accept APPLE PAY or any other mobile payment systems!!! However the salespersons are slow. If you use credit they require id regardless of your transaction amount. And there are no minimum transaction for cashless payments which is great. They also have FREE PARKING facility. Ok too many people come here the staff is nice the cashiers try there hardest to make the customers happy they have outstanding deals it all depends when you come in if people want deals on great quality this is perfect you wanna be cheap go buy dollar store fish people do come daily and steal which puts there value lower to replace the supervisor in the front has to be near the cashiers too many men come in flirting with making the cashiers feel uncomfortable so people should talk facts before destroying a place that has been good to the community because too too many shop there daily to be making up fake stories about its a bad place this place in my mind is 5 stars people earning 20.00 a hour and crying about Food...
