The road leads to a died end and a guard rail . The entrance to Little Bay Park is on your right. This has always been one of my favorite park's in Qweens . There is so much room to spread out and relax . Off to the fare left there is a nice size dog run . It's closer to 14th road and the service road . There is a walking lane and a bicycle lane as you walk under the Throgs Neck Bridge by the water. The lanes strech to the end of the park . There is parking under the bridge. The only way to get there is by taking the service road . There are portaputys scalded near by . When you find your self in the middle of the park . There is a Big socker count on your right side . There are lights and benches everywhere . With garbage cans everywhere . Sit down and admire the view of the open water . The bridge as the boats go by , even the sun set in evening . As you get closer to the end of the park . There is a large ice skating ring . It's not used for that anymore as fare as I know . Groups uses it for yoga and exercising classes . The parks department might have information on that . At the end of the park there is a large parking area . Where ice cream trucks park in the summer . There is a large building for rest rooms . . . . Also at end of the park is Fort Totton . They started to build Fort Totton in August 1861 to November 1863 . I hope my information is right . The Parks Department , has a building on the grounds . They do give tours of the Fort . The police and Fire Departments are also there . As well as the Military . You can walk or ride your bike all over the grounds of Fort Totton. Near the end of Little Bay Park is the entrance to the Bayside Marina . People walk , ride there bicycles , jog . It's a nice place to be . I never liked the name Little Bay Park . The water is the East River . I always celled it the Throngs Neck Park . The Throngs Neck Bridge was started October 1957 and opened January 11th 1961 The Whitestone Bridge was started . June 1st 1937 . Opened April 29th 1939 . I hope this information is right !"
