With 2 adults and 2 kids over 2, we opted for the membership. Cost was approx. 250 with parking.(Dont forget to look for discounts online.). The price would include this zoo, queens, central park and another zoo. I forgot which other one. Membership is good for 1 year from purchase date. We only did not even half of the zoo. Our 2nd visit will more than pay for membership price. You can bring food and drinks. Price does not include the dinosaur tour but as a member u pay only $4-6 instead of like $14-$17. Also does not include the ziplining and tree bridge s they have. Still worth it. The place itself is clean and staff is pretty friendly. We watch the behind the scene shows of the zoo. AnD the big sea lion you hear making all the noise, his name is Clyde. Don't forget to like my review.

We started from north side, so that was a bad idea, because there were less anomals on this side. I think the best place to start is Asia entrance, because there are couple big atractions there. We almost missed monorail, bus this is very fun, because guide was explaining about animals. It took 30 minutes to ride. Be sure to buy tickets in anvance. We came at 2 pm, and bought the last tickets. Zoo works untill 5 pm, and most of atractions close at 4:30, so you should come earlier if you want to visit everything. We missed aome places because of the time. Be prepared to walk a lot, and there is a free shuttle train inside.

The Madagascar exhibit is one of the best exhibits in the Bronx Zoo. Although it’s so hot during the summer time it’s worth it. The signs about the beautiful animals you are seeing are informative. You will come out with something new that you learn. The Bronx Zoo also offers packages to celebrate your wedding and includes going through the Madagascar exhibit during the cocktail hour. Currently because of Covid-19 the Bronx Zoo is closed until further notice. Check them out whenever they open again.
