I passed by this place a lot while running errands but never went inside. Yesterday I was craving sushi badly and did some research about places that aren’t in Manhattan. I was surprised to see this place pop up! I looked it up and realized I’ve seen it before in person but I never tried it. I finally decided to give it a go. I ordered it online cause I wasn’t going to go outside. I got a few things. First, the Mango and Avocado sushi roll . It was edible but tasted better with the soy sauce. I really wanted to try the sweet potato sushi roll but I’ll do that next time since I heard good things about that one. Now the Spicy Crab Roll was SENSATIONAL!! It doesn’t even need soy sauce. It was so good! Though I wish I order some spicy mayo on the side. But it’s so good and it has flavor. Idk if that’s actual crab or not but I enjoyed it and I’m definitely getting it again! I also got the taro bubble tea. Taro is my favorite bubble tea flavor so I was nervous to try this one but it did not disappoint! It’s sweet and refreshing. My mom got the coconut bubble tea and I tried it, was soo good and had a nice milky coconut consistency. Basically, I plan on eating food from here again. Next time I’d like to visit in person! ☺️

My husband and I came here for a lunch date and we ordered the Lunch Special Maki any 3 rolls for $13.95. We ordered a spicy tuna, shrimp tempura and california roll which we were sharing. Unfortunately my husband is allergic to fish so I asked our server to place my spicy tuna on a separate plate due to my husbands allergy. First the quality is very low budget, they serve you on a paper plate. Second they charge you for every spicy mayo provided and third when I received the check the server charged my spicy tuna separate. When I asked why she charged me separately she stated because she had to separate the rolls which is not a valid reason especially if on the menu it states 3 rolls. So in other words she is stating to me that my husbands food allergy was unimportant, part of the bill and the money they needed was more important. I would never go there again.

I love Sake II for its authentic sushi and healthy Bubble Tea, crafted just for you in many flavors, including cappuccino and taro (purple yam or ube). My sibling sometimes would get spicy crab roll when she stops by for a quick bite. Taro is my go-to bubble tea drink, which is mostly cost-friendly compared to other bubble tea stores in the local area of Belmont. Also, they make the sushi right in front of you after ordering, so you can see the expertise from the sushi chefs. One thing also is that their miso soup has a warm feel to it. It tastes very good. So, It is good to say a quick hi and be nice to the Sake II employees. They deliver the best sushi, bento box, teriyaki and bubble tea Belmont has to offer. A month later, I bought spicy crab roll and mango avocado roll with Bubble Tea. It was wonderful eating sushi again in my local community.

When I called to place my order, I wasn't sure what goes into a california roll. So I asked the lady who answered my call if there was any meat in california rolls. She answered by saying no. So I proceeded to order 3 California Rolls for $12.95. When I received my order there was crab meat in my california rolls. Now that I've gone through this whole ordeal, I know better that there is crab meat in california rolls. But I feel that if I specifically asked, the lady over the phone should have told me. Anyway, when I called back to ask if my rolls could be switched for something vegetarian, the lady got an attitude and said no, because "crab meat is not meat." When I told her that I still consider it to be meat, she then stated that it was imitation crab meat and that therefore it was not meat. When I explained that imitation crab meat still has real fish meat in it and that this was why I still didn't want it, she hung up the phone on me. When I called back and asked her to speak with a manager, she hung up again. Then when I called back a third time, a guy picked up the phone and told me that they were not going to switch my food or send me my money back. When I threatened to report them to the better business beauro, an older man picked up the phone and asked me if I know a Suzie. When I told him I did not know who suzie was, he told me that I think I know everything and that he was not going to give me my money back unless I took the food back to him in person. After work, I took a bus ride to the restaurant, dropped off my food and asked for my money back. The lady then slammed my money down on the counter and told me to never order food there ever again. After I responded "Don't worry I will never make that same mistake again." she said "Go back to school!" I'm not sure what she wants me to learn at school but I'm pretty sure they don't teach about Japanese food unless it's a cooking school. Anyway, I am writing this review because I am highly upset with the horrible customer service as well as the deliberate attempts to belittle me just because I advocated for myself. I don't know about anyone else but I work hard for my money and I cannot afford a business establishment with such poor customer service to keep my $12.95. I think they need to go back to school to learn better...

I live in the Bronx and it's hard to find a place that sell sushi or a full Japanese menu. I normally order from sake 2 through ubereats and I must say I absolutely positively love the food everything is so so good but I have to say today I went into the restaurant in person for the first time and I was underwhelmed the restaurant some what looks like storage for what they use to cook with not for nothing the place looks a little dirty and most importantly the front desk staff has no customer service whatsoever or personality whatsoever? I tried to explain to the front desk person that I love your food you guys are my favorite takeout place and I order from ubereats all the time do you guys he just looked at me dead in the face and ignored me? he didn't even say thank you just took my order and then turned around with his back to me and got on his cell phone? I was there around 4:45 and I ordered the salmon tartare avocado salad with the sweet potato tempura.

I have to say I wish I never went into the restaurant in person cuz I have the least I would have had the illusion that this is a great place and it must be even better restaurant in person. For me going forward I will probably still order from Sake 2 but the thought and experience in my head will always come back to me...
