Read moreI came with a little more than five minutes before closing time and they were already closed . The door lady denied me entry after it seemed like she called her boss on the radio(couldn’t hear through the door well). I ran over a mile to get there in time before the closing time. I already knew what I wanted to buy and would’ve taken less than five minutes to get it and be out of the store. Wish the employee would’ve gone the extra mile like I did to make it to the store on time.
Seems like whoever is managing the store is trying to cut out early. There were also two girls at the door at the same time that I was there too. Three potential customers lost. I think another one was walking towards the door as well right after me so probably four customers. I get that the employees want to go home but how do you think getting denied at the door with clearly 5 minutes makes someone feel? Just seems inconsiderate and leaves a bad feeling about the store afterwards. Not to mention you just lost business as a store. Needless loses on all sides for...
Read moreWent in for a seam ripper cause l was told by a friend that Michaels would have it. Large store without any hanging signs. You have to walk to a shelf and see whether what you want is on that shelf. The signs are on that shelf but you can't read them from afar which defeats the purpose. There was no extra staff to direct you to whatever you're looking for. The only people l saw were Chris and some other lady who were both doing check out. I can't blame them for slacking. They were trying to go through a veeeery long line. The store SHOULD have better staffing. At one point l considered calling the store number in order to be directed towards the seam ripper. It's a Friday afternoon, most people have left work so it's obviously a peak period in ANY business. Why aren't there more people working? If it wasn't for the fact that it was a trip to get here, l would have left. Btw, I'm writing this in line. I thought l would have checked out by the time l finished typing but alas, I'm still here, so l obviously have a lot of time...
