I grew up in the South Bronx. After my mother was assaulted and my house broken in to I knew we had to change locations. We moved to this area and at first it was a quiet community. And then this shelter showed up. Between these residents providing drug dealers with customers, where they then do their purchased drugs on the steps of my building, and my mother being flashed numerous times on her way to work I have had enough. I had to accompany him every time after that. I hate this place and I'm enraged that they would put a place like this in a residential area. Most of the residents suffer from mental illness and are drug users. Some on drugs so bad they have passed out on the street and one in front of my building. Our super has had to clean human feces off of our stoop because of these people. My mother doesn't want to move because of the convenience to her job but I'm done. Close this...
Read moreThe Crack Hotel... I know how a shelter is suppose to be run I was a first shift supervisor for many years at a shelter in Massachusetts this place is criminal and there is no other way to put it. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST RUN AS FAST YOU CAN AND NEVER EVER...
