Third Street Playground — Attraction in New York

Third Street  is a gem of a playground in Prospect Park, located off 3rd Street and Prospect Park West. Amazing. In fact while all the other people are sweating it out amidst the chaos at the huge 9th Street playground, parents in the know are relaxing at Third Street. The playground layout is a large, bench-lined circle with several play structures, tire swings, a circle sandbox and two water features all in the middle. We could drop anchor at practically any bench and easily kept a watchful eye on the kids while catching up...

Nestled in the woods Of a Brooklyn public park, 5 year old energy Eager to make his mark. Overcast and mild On this December twenty five, Presents all opened And now grateful to be outside!

This park is not bad. I wish public bathrooms were somewhere around here and open but I guess to be expected on Christmas. My 5 year old son loves the park and doesn’t want to leave so I think he rates it 5 stars....

Low key better than the 9th St one. As a kid it was far more relaxing and less overwhelming than the 9th St one. Also for parents and kids alike it has far more shade than the 9th St which can feel like it's on fire. The trees that sorround the 3rd St playground...
