Bonita Canyon Sports Park East — Attraction in Newport Beach

Bonita Canyon park is a treasure. There’s a mix of sports fields, walking paths, playgrounds, comfortable picnic tables with umbrellas with relaxing views. The park is busy most of the time, particularly with pickleball players. I was part of the volunteer team that helped set up the pickleball courts. The city did a great job of building the courts. They have windscreens and have screens between courts so you can play safely with no balls coming on your court. The court system works well for people to rotate on the courts. This is truly a great sports park. Bonita Canyon Sports Park has 3 baseball diamonds with home run fences. It also has very clean and nice smelling Public restrooms. The landscaping around the park looks like a botanical garden. There is a sand playground for the little kids and lots of well maintained grass to sit and read a book or have a picnic. A great place to spend an afternoon in the warm sun....

Went here with my sweet 3 year old daughter and the chips and guac were awesome. The service was non existent after we got our order until the busboy came to take our plates.
