Glo Bridal — Attraction in Newton

I purchased my wedding dress from Molly at Glo Bridal and was really blown away by the overall experience.

Molly is so warm and inviting and really makes you feel so comfortable trying on dresses. She pulled some dress ahead of time that she thought I would like and then during the visit pulled other things as well. She is really knowledgeable on all of the designers she carries and really does a great job telling their stories. Molly helped me find the perfect dress and was even able to communicate directly with the designer on some questions I had about the dress and sizing. After my first visit, I fell in love with a dress but wanted to think about it. I came back in with a friend and my sister a few days later and made my final decision.

On both visits and via email Molly was really helpful answering questions outside of her scope like suggestions on shape-wear, shoes, and even where my sister should look for her dress. The pickup process was super smooth and easy and she gave so many suggestions on where to get the dress altered as well as where to get it cleaned after the wedding. I had already purchased my dress elsewhere, but had Glo in mind for accessories (I would’ve gone dress shopping there too, had I not fallen in love with a dress at the first shop!). When my dress was suddenly backordered and the ship date pushed out several times, I made an appointment at Glo in search of a back-up dress option in a time crunch. Molly went the extra mile of reaching out to other local bridal shops to see if they happened to have an in stock version of my original dress which was so appreciated during my stressful moment. Fortunately, my dress ended up shipping just before my Glo appointment, but I still went in for accessory shopping. Molly was super helpful in showing various belt, earring, and hair accessories from her well curated, unique selection, and I ultimately went with an Emma Katzka belt which really brought my dress to the next level and made it absolutely perfect. I had such a wonderful experience at Glo Bridal!! From appointment reservation to buying my dress, the whole process was seamless and very easy. Molly truly cares about understanding your vision as a bride, your likes and dislikes, and provides PLENTY of amazing dresses that work for your budget and vibe. It was a VERY low pressure experience, and as we still navigate a covid world, I felt very safe based on the precautions she's taking for those who enter the shop.

I also just wanted to add that it's such a relief to know that you can either walk away that day with your dream dress off the rack or if you choose one of the made to order designers, that it's going to be made in the USA and in your hands within 5 months. I know a lot of the wedding industry is struggling right now with production, so going this route was a no-brainer. I am so thankful that a sustainable bridal shop exists in the Boston area. Glo...
