Thankful that people have started leashing dogs here!!! Unlike the characterization of another reviewer, there are more than just “uptight” people and hooligans in the world. As someone who is medically fragile, and would be hurt by a friendly dog just as easily as a not friendly dog, I am grateful.
No dog parent has the right to presume that all humans either want to have a dog in their space OR would be safe doing so. It’s a selfish supposition. Leash your damn dogs. It’s not just the decent human thing to do (common courtesy and all that comes with sharing a space that is NOT your back yard), it is also the law. It is a requirement that shouldn’t have to be stated, but IS, and explicitly so, for all DCR parks.
