If I could leave this place 0 reviews, I would. As a parents, who wants the best for my child. Some of the people at this location aren’t really too concerned about that. They are more concerned with collecting payment from you and then asking you to pick up your child early because they are under staffed and incompetent of handling more than 10 children per classroom.
Robin Brey was the one who really ruined the whole experience for my children’s first time at summer camp. The first week we were there, my son had an incident where he ran from staff. I was called and give 3 different stories. In one story he ran outside to the parking lot. In another story he didn’t. In one he hid behind doors. Who knows what else they told my husband. After this incident she became very hostile twords me. When I asked her if I should find a different location that is more suitable to care for him, she didn’t hesitate to tell me that I should go. (Not the kind of response I would expect after just spending over $6k with them) She informed me that the staff could NOT watch my child outside in the playground (because my child has ran away from staff) but someone can sit with him downstairs in the classroom to watch him there. After informing me one day that my child required an aid, she verbally attacked me when I called her to ask for an update for the aid. Such a rude person to employ for the face of Nile’s park district, and NOT the type of people I would ever trust my kids with again.
When my boys signed up, I was informed they would be in class together. Within a week and a half, I witness the teacher pushing my son to separate him from his brother. I had to verbally tell her to stop and tell her he agreed to switch classes later.
I ended up not only losing time (from work) because I first had to pull them out early. But I lost out on money because I had to stay home with them and couldn’t focus on work. I took them out of their normal daycare for this HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
WORST DECISION I...
Read moreThe Niles Park District is a lovely place to take a break from a busy day. It is clean and green with lots of space for everyone. It is a wonderful place for fun, sports, or just relaxing. People who live in Niles or visit should go to the park district again and again.
Pre-K teachers, especially Ms. Melanie and Ms. Sharon at the Niles Park community are truly wonderful. They have a special kindness and patience that makes every child feel cared for and happy.
These teachers are very good at creating fun learning activities. They use songs, games, and stories to teach children new things. This makes learning feel like playing.
They are always looking around to make sure every child is safe and included. This is very important for us because our son is very shy.
Their classrooms are colorful and full of interesting things to do and see. This helps young kids want to explore and learn.
The teachers are friendly and always have a smile. They are a big part of what makes Niles Park District a loving and welcoming place...

Miss Heather and Miss Laura and hands down the best educators I have ever experienced. I hope the park district gives these women WHATEVER they need to succeed and stay. They went above and beyond to show my son compassion, kindness, while teaching in a fun, play based learning environment. My son asked to go to school every day and since this was his first experience with a school like setting, I could not be more grateful of how positive it was. These...
