Update: The below review was from 8 months ago. We gave the restaurant another try and we had a great meal! Salmon and vegetables were cooked perfectly. Wait staff was so pleasant also. Very happy we tried them again and hope we continue to have more great dining experiences there.
Old review: Restaurant has nice decor and the live music Saturday night was pleasant. Food and drinks, however, were not good. We ordered cacciatore and tortellini - and both felt like they’d been heated up WAY too many times. Our food came out immediately (less than 5 minutes) and was extremely hot - obviously microwaved too long. Both pastas were so mushy it was hard to discern what type of pasta they were. Sauce on the tortellini was good - but cacciatore was very bland. Old fashioned was barely an ounce of fluid and maybe had a splash of bourbon? Could only taste the old fashioned mix and very little bourbon flavor was evident. Perhaps if they get a real chef and a real bartender this place would be good. Pasta is pretty easy to cook up fresh - serving old, mushy pasta is certainly not acceptable for...
Read moreI cannot believe this place has been open since January! Inexperienced waitress… But I understand that… Everyone is suffering right now. I would’ve complained about the bartender… But I’m sure she was the owners wife. Didn’t know how to make the drink I ordered and didn’t care to Google it and find out the ingredients. I finally said I would like a slice of lemon for my water. As we sat there waiting with no drink… I asked the waitress if they had bread or perhaps cheese and crackers… She said oh yes, but only on request! How would we know that since we’ve never been there before. When our marginal food finally arrived, that’s when the vacuuming began. So incredibly rude to vacuum the floor while customers are eating. And needless to say… We will not be returning. Oh, and the atmosphere…...
Read moreOverpriced and under seasoned. The sourdough bread on our prime rib Grilled cheeses were so hard you couldn’t chew through. Also 2 mushrooms on my sandwich and the “prime rib” tasted like hamburger. 2 of us got the chicken n noodles with pastry and the pastry felt like a hockey puck. You’d think someone would of noticed hardly any food was being eaten? The only thing the table of 10 really liked were the fried mushrooms appetizer. The mac n cheese was suggested as a side and it was very plain and just tasted like gummy noodles. I don’t mind paying the higher price and the gratuity being included but 9/10 meals were bland and inedible. Also the singing was crazy obnoxious. The entire left side of the dining room felt so awkward…we had such high hopes for this place but sadly will...
