Buyers beware: Last Thursday, November 21, 2024, my wife and I purchased some dining room chairs here. They were in a display area, and visually looked fine. After we purchased them, the clerk brought them out on the floor to be loaded in our vehicle, at which time we realized that they were so rickety, that they could hardly be sat in. Should we have noticed that before we made the purchase? Maybe, but it never dawned on us that they would try to sell chairs that were practically falling apart. We then advised the clerk that we did not want them and asked for a refund of our purchase. He said all sales were final, and even called the owner who refused to refund our money. There are signs up that say all sales are final, but we didn't even take the chairs out of the store. I can understand if we took them home, and then tried to bring them back, that we could not expect a refund. They allowed the charge to go through, and now I have to file a dispute with my credit card company. Needless to say, I would suggest that you steer clear of this...

The first thing you'll notice when you walk in is the pandemic plastic that still hangs from the ceiling at the counter, like a giant cobweb of contempt. Also, the symphony of 80s music that blares from the ceiling speaker while checking out is a nice touch too, which I can only assume is purposefully loud to limit interaction or small talk. As if that’s not enough, the two ill-tempered pensioners behind the plastic will treat you like an annoying inconvenience. They have some affordable things and very unique finds!
