Beautique Room By Lisa — Attraction in Norristown

I was referred here by a co-worker and had a great experience all around. I’m from Queens, NY where I’ve been doing my hair with my same girl for years so I was nervous and not that prepared because I’m used to her just knowing what I like. I was looking for a salon since I moved here last year that is outside my very suburban neighborhood that is majority white. So, not a lot of options of getting my hair done. I was really happy to find the Beautique Room because Lisa knew how to treat my hair from start to finish. I finally was able to make it in for a trim and extended ponytail. I was not sure what I wanted style wise and on top of that I completely forgot the hair. They did me a one time courtesy and let me get it (usually would be cancelled). Lisa washed my hair and dried it piece by piece with paper towel which I loved because my hair is so dry. Im so picky with trimming my hair but trusted her and it paid off, my hair still has so much length but is now nice a healthy. She listened to what made me comfortable and was so patient and reassuring! I ended up accidentally buying bundles that were different from the exact style I wanted (which was my fault for not bring prepared) but Lisa made it work and my ponytail came out really well done and stylish anyway! It lasted so long and was still perfect when I was ready to take it out. Usually ponytails don’t last too long but I was able to keep it in for four days which is super long in my experience Definitely booking for my brother in law’s wedding and to get some other cute ponytails that we were checking out together :)...

I haven't had my hair done in a year and it showed. So after having two friends getting their hair done, reading reviews and viewing the pics I finally made my appointment with Miss Lisa and I am truly grateful and glad that I did! The shop is very gorgeous, clean and welcoming. Everyone was professional. Taylor, who washed my hair, really did her thing with constantly having to detangle my hair. She did it and didn't make me feel like a burden. She wasn't rough or aggravated with having to do it and she got it done and done right, I really appreciate her, her positive and professional attitude, my head massage and her muscles! 😂 The owner Lisa [Miss Lisa] followed up with what I felt was caring and cautious straightening! She made my styling as painless as she could with my excess scalp 🤣🤦🏾‍♀️ and she finished quickly! She gave me a healthy trim to my bad ends and still left me length! I left not recognizing myself and my head felt 5x lighter! I really appreciate her, the time she took, the care she puts into her work and her all around talent and skill with hair! Such a blessing! I will be returning cuz I have been #LaidbyLisa!...

I first saw a picture on Instagram that caught my attention I clicked on it than i saw the tag to the salon and i stalked the page looking at everything from natural hair, braids, to tap ins and I was intrigued which I’m not easily. I finally booked went in. So this was my experience 01/24/23 I noticed it was clean right away, did not smell like a bunch of Chemicals or burnt hair. Seated right away and was out at the expected time. I got a sewin done by Lisa (the owner) wanted a specific look and got exactly what i wanted. When she was done she asked me if I liked it and I guess it took a while for me to respond because i was intensely staring at it lol because I couldn’t believe i felt like I only gave her a few details on what I wanted I was shocked I couldn’t find anything wrong with it is also better than I expected will be continuing booking and I do trust her with my hair.
