Main Street Cafe — Restaurant in Norristown

I would give Main Street Cafe 5+ STARS if I could!!! This place has the best food in town for the breakfast and lunch crowd! The staff are very friendly and efficient, and the food is always on point! If you are seeking to pay a high price for a skimpy platter when dining out however, this would not be the restaurant for you; the portions served are enough to sate your hunger and still to have some leftover for later. I have dined in as well as called ahead for pickup, and the food is perfectly prepared every time and when calling ahead, THE ORDER IS ALWAYS ACCURATE!!! I have never had to call because something was incorrect or missing, and that, for me, is a huge positive. Mixed feelings good food bad customer service. Corey is nice when she wants to be. I will never go back there again. I am done spending my time and money at these places. The waitress gets a good tip but she seems over worked and tired all of the time. She must need more vacation time I guess. I feel like I can stay home cook my own food and save my $15 and be happier. I love to go out for breakfast but it has gotten old for me. Tired of the whole scene of going through the motions. This place was mad busy and there was only one waitress who was actually doing takeout orders and table service so service was really slow. The food was okay. However, if you're going to serve grits to African Americans or even anyone who southern for that fact, you need to season your grits. They were so bland you needed a ton of salt and butter.
