It was my first time shopping here even though I live in the neighborhood. My main go-tos are Publix and Costco. I had forgotten to buy lemons the other day, so I decided to stop in and get some here. The ambiance is that of a casual, small, and local Cuban grocery store that needs to upgrade their store inside and outside. I think it would help bring in more business to them. The employees were not smiling at customers but each to their own. The cashiers barely speak English, and I barely speak Spanish, but I'm learning. I like to shop at grocery stores that offer food from other countries. I especially like Cuban food since I now live in Miami. I plan to stop in again in the future to see what else they sell. Private parking is free and close to entrance.

It's all about the price. Why pay more when you swing by here and get deals like this. There might be some minor trade off on the variety front, but if you are generally searching for Latino or Carribbean diets you'll find 90% of what you need here. Look out for the killer $3.99 20lb rice bag deal with total purchases over $30. Also, prepared bfast and lunch in the deli area here has to be the best value like for like anywhere in town (except for maybe little Haiti which has a competitive place).

The worst cafetería de todos los presidentes. , esas , they can even put Mayo in their sandwich she told me she is not allowed and my question is why do they have mayo in the counter , even though their 2 ladies were standing there with no costumers they don’t move a finger and get mad when you ask them For anything , they truly hate their job 🤮🤮🤮🤮

This is a medium-sized chain of grocery stores sandwiched (conceptually) between the big ones (Publix, Wal-Mart, etc.) and the really tiny ones in the area like Bay Supermarket or Sabor Tropical market. In that sense it bridges the gap between the two.

My brief review only pertains to this particular location.

It has a decent selection of fruits, vegetables, herbs, dairy and meat products and all the processed foods like snacks, frozen meals, etc. It’s cheaper than Publix or the tiny supermarkets in the area, but one has to pick and choose from the big piles of fruits and vegetables unlike other places where any random unit’s quality is fine. It also has some hard-to-find items like cilantro (at a good price), tamarind, root turmeric, and items favored by Latin cooks, etc., so if you use those in your meals this is a good place.

For meat, their on-sale items have good prices, otherwise they’re just ok. Their processed foods have decent prices.

Their staff is friendly and helpful.

But, they could pay more attention to cleanliness. In fact, this is the only thing that turned me off. I’ll have to visit their other locations in the area to see if cleanliness is an issue only at this location or germane to the...

I have lived near this store for over a year. On multiple occasions both fresh and prepackaged food have been bad. Two times with meat products that smelled rotten after being in my fridge for only a few hours. Another two times were pasta products with weevils or some other type of bug in them. I frequently find expired products in the dairy section and on the shelves as well. I have tried speaking with them about my concerns. After attempting to have these issues addressed with 3 different supervisors and not being able to overcome the language barrier I have decided to make official reports with the city and state. Yes, their prices are better. That savings comes at a cost I feel is too step for the consumer. I personally feel this store is not safe to purchase food products from. The store was great the first couple of months after the remodel. It has slipped back to it's normal state of dangerous...

I really like Presidente store #32, (except their website's frequent lack of the Weekly Ad timely update!) especially for their weekly specials in their deli where quality luncheon meats and cheeses are always priced below $4 which is a real bargain compared to Publix whose sales prices are generally up around $8-10!!! Even their regular prices are lower than Publix sales prices! I also like their fresh produce...

The one thing I HATE about Presidente corporation is their website because they frequently don't update their on-line weekly promotions advertisement before the sale that begins on Wednesday and sometimes they don't update it at all for that week! I have repeatedly written to them that they need to kick their IT staff in the butt because this is UNACEPTABLE and they must be losing customers and money when one is unable to know what's on sale without actually going to the store... BAD...
