Jeremy Watts is INCREDIBLE. He is able to do so much more than just fix computers. The name of his business actually understates what he’s fully capable of. Jeremy is VERY intelligent. He stays current on the latest tech advances, but he’s also very familiar with outdated products and systems that came and went over the years.
What I really appreciate is how well Jeremy explains the situation and the solutions. Many computer guys are hard to communicate with. It’s like they’re speaking a different language. Jeremy is different. He doesn’t bombard you with jargon to impress you. He’s a really pleasant guy - approachable, witty, funny, and friendly. He is easy to get ahold of, and he encourages you to ask questions whenever you have any.
Most importantly, Jeremy Watts has more INTEGRITY as a businessman than anyone I’ve ever met. Technology is evolving faster than ever. This creates an ever-expanding gap of knowledge between the average person and the experts. When average people seek tech assistance, it’s easy to see how our vulnerability can be exploited by experts. You don’t have to worry about being taken advantage of with Jeremy. It’s what truly separates him from everybody else. Jeremy is an honest guy that enjoys his job, and he is damn good too.
To give you an idea of his capabilities, I bought an existing dental practice last year, and it needed a lot of technological updates. I had a vision of what I wanted, but no idea how to communicate it to an expert. Not only that, I didn’t know where to start or who to call. I needed help in so many different areas, I thought for sure that I would need 10 different specialists.
Thank goodness for Jeremy. He had the skills to handle everything I threw at him. He was able to answer all of my questions. When something was outside of his expertise (which was rare - maybe once), he wasn’t too proud to admit it. Instead, he did the research himself to learn it, and either direct me to the right place or do it himself.
To give you an idea of what Jeremy was up against at my office, here is a brief list - software (installations, integrations, updates, transitions, protection, troubleshooting, training, etc.), hardware (installation, removal, mounting, wiring, connecting, etc.), network set-up, data back-ups, television (installation, mounting, configuration, integrations, etc.), digital x-ray units, phones (mobile, land line, voicemail), disguising cords, printer/copier/fax machines, scanning documents, data retrieval, password unlocking and protection, digital cameras, audio/speakers, remote access, monitor/displays, consulting, and much, much more that I can’t pronounce or spell.
What made Jeremy’s work even more impressive was that he had to first figure out and disassemble the previous computer set up. It had been installed by a well known IT consulting business in town. Unfortunately, their work was very shoddy, and everything had been set-up the wrong way. Jeremy cleaned up their mess. And got right to work.
He was able to work around our hours of operation. He was easy to reach, and willing to communicate by text when I requested. He did the work of ten men at my office, all by himself. He stuck around after the job was finished to explain and train everyone in the office. His pricing was very competitive and fair. To be honest, he is worth so much more than he is comfortable charging.
On top of all of this, he had a broken sternum! Complications had him in and out of the hospital for months. Much to my amazement, he kept working as much as his body would let him. He went above and beyond for my office.
Even if you are just looking for starting point, I recommend Jeremy and North Canton Computers. He can help with your business needs, as well as your individual/home needs. I highly...
Read moreLAZY. LIAR. THIEF. In summer of 2017 I took a laptop into Jeremy. It needed a new screen (blank screen) and was BSODing (Blue Screen of Death) In the 2 months he had the laptop he "ignored" my calls and texts. He finally responded to say it was ready to p/u. When my wife opened the laptop there was a 3 1/2 inch scratch in the new screen and the screen still didn't work. Jeremy claimed to know nothing about scratch, even though it was in line with one of the screws. I did not believe him from the length of the scratch and location of the scratch so near a mounting screw. Jeremy agreed to replace it. Another month went by with the same "ignoring" of calls and txts. We showed up and demanded our property back and a refund for having not fixed anything. Fast forward to today, 2/23/2019, I decided to part this laptop out and sell the pieces. I installed Qty 2 RAM chips 4GB each some years ago, he switched one of them for a cheap 2...
Read moreI had a horrible experience. Had a cracked laptop screen, so I brought in in here to get a new one put on. Jeremy was really personable and informed, and told me he'd have the parts in by the end of the week, and that he'd keep me posted. He DID NOT keep me posted. A week and a half went by, so I phoned in and asked him. He told me it would just be a few more days. Then another week and a half went by. After a few more calls to him he finally let me know that it was done. When I picked it up, all seemed to be working great. Once the thirty-day warranty on services expired, like CLOCKWORK, my screen started glitching out. It's a touch screen, and now I can't even use it because the screen is constantly glitching. I spent $300 on a new screen that wasn't done properly, and can't get my money back because the service warranty is up....
