Exceptional Food and Service!

The Crow Nest Diner truly exceeded my expectations! Their sausage biscuits and gravy boasted a uniquely flavorful twist .. The soft scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection - a rarity in most restaurants! French toast was infused with just the right amount of cinnamon.

Outstanding Service

Our waitress was phenomenal, expertly managing a packed dining area with effortless efficiency. Her attentive service ensured a delightful dining experience.

Great Value

Prices were incredibly reasonable, making this hidden gem an absolute steal!

Minor Suggestion

My only wish is for a larger parking area, as finding a spot proved challenging.

Overall

The Crow Nest Diner earns a well-deserved 5 stars! If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out!

Or, if you prefer a shorter review:

We have driven past this place forever. Finally decided to stop in for breakfast. We went on a Saturday around 12:30, luckily they serve breakfast all day. We found a table quickly, even though the place was still hopping. We ordered basic breakfasts: eggs, bacon/sausage and hashbrowns. It was all good, just bland, no seasoning. Could definitely tell its homemade, which is nice. We also split a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy. This was the star, so good. Sausage was a little sweet, biscuits were fresh and gravy very flavorful. Our service was a little slow. My glass had a hole in it and it took a bit to flag someone down to clean it. Coffee refills were also slow. But the place was full. The restaurant is a large open room, with nothing to dampen the noise. We gave up trying to talk. Felt like I needed to shout.

Overall, if you want a good home cooked meal and aren't in a hurry, definitely...

I called to place an order and the lady on the phone seemed stressed, probably because they were just opening up. I was patient and didn’t get an attitude even though the person taking my order definitely was upset she had to do so. Then before I placed the order I wanted to make sure of the total, so I asked her what it was. She was not happy about that, put me on hold for a few minutes and gave me my total. I came to get my food and nobody was nice or used manners to any degree. I said thank you before leaving and the lady just stared at me. Not only that but I get home and my order was partially wrong, and the eggs weren’t fully cooked. And look, I’m sure they’re mostly good, or nice to people. If they weren’t they wouldn’t have so many great reviews. However, I was annoyed with how everything went, and am upset I wasted my time and money...

Me and the wife ventures here last week. We live in West Akron and we love to try new places. We went in and it's a seat your self little diner. We were created promptly and drink orders taken. Our waitress Hailey if that the correct spelling was a sweet heart. I ordered the country fries steak and I hate having the gravy on potatoes and eggs and asked if the country fries steak could be placed on a separate plate with out hesitation she said no problem at all. Wife got French toast and bacon and she said it was super good. The syrup is served warm, that is nice feature. We sat and talked for a bit after eating and never felt rushed to leave and she even refilled drinks while we talked. This place is a must try. Both waitresses were super sweet and kind and make you feel welcome. If you on the edge of if you should go . You should.

We left another restaurant after poor treatment and found this little gem! We are out of towners and this little place and staff was amazing. Hard working efficient and made sure to keep us updated on our table status and just absolutely treated the guests wonderful. The let me say that breakfast was amazing!! Coffee was amazing. Not a bad bite in the whole meal. I’d recommend this place hands down!!
