A PROUD THIEF IS MY First & last experience with the worst business I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with . My girlfriend took in roughly $400 in scrap gold she took in 1881 sterling heart pillbox at scrap value which is not what they put in their advertisement they don’t buy your precious gems they don’t wanna hear anything other than profit they do not care about the customer or how much they’re taking advantage of someone she was given $65 because she didn’t know any better there were real amethyst gems quarter carat diamonds antique sterling silver 14 karat gold and she gave her $65 dollars so we asked to return the check that they gave and return my property she wants cash so to cash the check waste more time drive back other than her simply canceling the check and returning the property She Took full advantage of my girlfriend not knowing anything and it’s so petty that she wouldn’t even hold the jewelry for two weeks until the check didn’t clear so she thought we were trying to scam her when she could’ve simply canceled the check and return the property that she robbed us for pennies on the dollar I will be reviewing this place once a week for the next year so no one else waste their time being taken advantage of and robbed from this terrible Business And I can only speak for the lady I spoke with I don’t know any of the other staff or owners I don’t even know this lady’s name I just know that she should have nothing to do With people or customers or anybody expecting to be...

I called over the phone asking if they could resize a ring for me and they said yes so I was excited! My partner and I drove there to get the ring dropped off and after a weird interaction where I tried to open the door and got pointed to the side of the building just to have an employee come out front to yell for us. We finally made it in and they said they don't work on rings that weren't bought there which sucks because they never said that over the phone so I drove that way for no reason. Then I come to their reviews just to see all of the reviews of people having "family antiques" worked on. So why a family antiques but not a vintage engagement ring? Just a very unprofessional feeling from what we experienced with them, with them surprisingly having too many good reviews it seems. Unfortunately, I’m was ripped off here too. I wanted to believe they (John) was honest and it saddened me I have to write this review… But I like getting taken advantage of even less than having to write this. I had a ring ‘fixed’ and was charged a substantial amount, which I didn’t mind paying if it did, in fact, get fixed. But less than a month and a half later, it broke in the same place. John told me it was in a different place and wanted to charge me again. I got two estimates so far and both told me it wasn’t fixed properly.
