Goldsborough Bridge Battlefield — Attraction in North Carolina

This battle field is a very short walk thru history. Less than a mile the path is a square. Along the way you can read the signs that tell the story of what happened and where. It took me about 20 minutes to explore everything. My only recommendation is to bring some bug spray the tall grass breads a lot of bugs. I would not go again however I would recommend...

Nice for a leisurely and short historic walk. Some of the trail didn't appear to be maintained well enough to venture. So we just walked the outer trail in which we could see the path easily. I enjoyed reading the information throughout our walk. There's nowhere to sit just to enjoy the area. I wouldn't drive out of my way to come here. It's ok, left alot...

Pull up, park, and walk maybe 1/4 mile around to several sign posts describing the site specific area in detail. Criss cross wood fences border the battlefield in a perimeter fashion; very tidy except for a few broken glass beer bottles and crumpled beer cans in the parking area and nearside woodline; probably party central for locals youth to...
