Tropical Breeze Park — Attraction in North Las Vegas

This park was so dirty and poorly maintained! Sad, because it has the potential to be a really nice park and has modern equipment and a nice big ramada. It even has bathrooms and a splash pad, but all of it was disgusting and covered with trash. Both the play areas/structures and the surrounding grassy areas. You couldn't take five steps without coming upon another piece of trash. There was even broken glass in a few different places. I have a one year old who is a new walker and I couldn't let him down and free because he'd pick up and try to put all the trash in his mouth. The bathrooms were so dirty they were nearly unusable. Also, none of the drinking fountains were in working order and it was a hot day. And the splash pad was off even though it was the weekend, although that might be normal for this time of year. I'm not a "fancy" person and I don't have extremely high standards for parks, but I do expect basic maintenance and cleanliness for a place where I let my children play. The water park is excellent and provides an area for younger children that is out of the way of the bigger splash pad. The park dies need a clean up because trash litters the bushes, but overall it is a relatively nice park. The playground for bigger kids has been damaged and is in need of repair. There are swinging poles that should be secured, but all of them have been disconnected. There is a swing that needs to be re-attached on one side and the rubber flooring has been dug up in some areas. It's naturey and the place is beautiful but the bathrooms stink and there is litter I fell like there should be 5 police there so there is no littering I saw candy rappers and lots of trash.
