China A Go Go — Restaurant in North Las Vegas

I have nothing but praise for the take-out food here. The cooks preparation always seems to be consistent in texture and flavor in the dishes that I buy. The food is the best I've found in the area. I love the food. This place would get a 5 star rating if not for a couple of problems. It's a small kitchen with a counter at one end and a couple of small tables between the counter and the door. It can feel uncomfortable when 6 or more customers are inside. When there are, I normally step outside to wait for my order to be prepared. It doesn't take long. There are about 5 people working here, 4 men cooking with one occasionally covering orders and pickups with the lady who is normally posted at the counter. I had nearly stopped coming here because of the extremely poor service and bad attitude of this lady during my first time there. I made the mistake of asking a question about one item on the menu out of what seems like around 30 different dishes, some with pictures, on the menu. She let me know that I was on my own by her curt manner and near deft ear that all she wanted to hear was "give me that one". My son and I retreated from the counter and helped each other. We received our food at the counter from the lady who only said to us, "It's ready". I paid, and I filled in the blanks for her. I said "thank you". My son and I enjoyed the food we had chosen. While eating he said, "Dad, this food is good. But that lady. . .do you want to go there again?" I said I don't know. He responded, "It is good food. I think we should go back one more time and see." We did return and continued to return for good eating! I experienced the other people working there and found them pleasant, courteous and helpful. The lady has not been a problem. Overall, she's better. I reccomend you try this place at least once. It just might...

My first time here although we have lived in the area for a while. I must admit the negative reviews got to me.

Anyway, came in today to order lunch to go. This place is really tiny! They had 4 booths and 2 tables for 2. The ladies at the register were nice and the kitchen crew was rocking(a good sign). Ordered mixed chow mien, Mongolian beef lunch special and a taro boba to-go. We were in and out in less than 15mins. The boba was so good and refreshing. The Mongolian beef was "WOW!", the mixed chow mien had so much meat and shrimps and so yummy, the servings are huge. Price is very affordable too. We're good for lunch and dinner:).

Kicking myself for waiting this long to check this place out. This is now my go-to place whenever I'm craving Chinese food.

Food and service, 5 stars. Wish the place was bigger but heck I don't really...

I used to order the family dinner A from here.. my family and i used to enjoy eating here that is up until last week when i found a HAIR in my egg roll!!! And i understand that unfortunate things might happen but when my husband called and spoke with the owner his response was to bring in the egg roll and they would replace it 😕 we ordered for delivery and paid a great tip.. i guess i was just displeased with the customer service.. i been a customer for YEARS my daughter even chooses to eat here for her birthday( Chinese food is her fav) but a hair in food is gross and not even an apology 😷😷😷 ill go somewhere else...
