Art Creation Station — Attraction in North Muskegon

I cannot recommend this place and the owner, Katrina, enough!!! My friend and I were visiting from out of town and we were looking for something creative to do and we found this place!! We signed up for a guided painting class and had so much fun! Katrina was so friendly, personable, and patient with us as beginner painters. The atmosphere of the shop is so awesome and welcoming to anyone of any skill level and you will LOVE Katrina if you get to work with her. She made everything SO easy for us and we were able to walk out with a wonderful piece of art that I can’t wait to hang in my apartment. Not to mention, the price of the class was a real steal and we had stayed for several hours working on our pieces. My son and I were invited here for a birthday, and let me tell you... We had SO much fun, we've never been to a painting studio let alone painted on a canvas or in a "professional" paint setting before until then. The instructor was amazing and guided the kiddos on how/where to paint, how specific brushes are better used in certain areas, a lot of brush knowledge as well as paint knowledge. We had a little incident where some paint smudged a bit (no biggie) but the owner helped us fix it 😁.. she was also very nice to talk to. Katrina is an engaging and talented artist. She is also an excellent art teacher! Her class is thoroughly instructed for different levels and ages learning. My kids joined the Summer Youth Art Program at the studio.My husband and I, and a while back my in-laws joined her for painting classes. Katrina was not only able to guide us, as beginners, to better understand painting techniques, proportions and color, she also has a wonderful positive and encouraging teaching style!
