Looks like some changes were made to the menu.
I welcome them. The combos restricted options. The new system of build your own burger and choose your own sides is much better. Similar to A LA carte dining.
The shakes here are amazing. Very good flavors. You would swear that the mint shake was pureed Andes mints, delicious.
Others in my dining party debated the flavor and texture of the cheese curds, with the concensus being that Mr. Quick beats Culver's all around. My chicken was juicy and delicious. So tired of all the deep fried /spicy wars amongst other fast food places. No spices to hide a sub par, dough covered, deep fried mess covered in sauce. My sandwich had fresh lettuce and tonatoes with cheese and crispy bacon. This was a very welcome change. Others raved about they're bacon burgers and shakes. The person who ordered the olive burger placed it on par with one of the better known and regarded smash burger food trucks in Grand Rapids. There was nice outdoor seating with handicapped acces and huge umbrellas that provided plenty of shade for the entire table. Indoor seating was more modern and built to accommodate a single occupant, couple, or larger party with movable seating that had a nice aesthetic unseen in normal burger joints. Cups and sides were in basic paper and cardboard with no styrafoam or plastic. Facilities and building were in great shape and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful with the new options available to us. Even patient as it took us all a while to contemplate our orders with all the great choices and variety. From wings and chili dogs to burgers and chicken sammies. They had everything. Even breakfast! I realize this location is a bit outside of Muskegon proper, but was a great afternoon treat for everyone. We will be...
Read moreA Satisfactory Drive-Thru Experience at Mr. Quick in Muskegon, MI
I recently visited Mr. Quick, a fast-food joint in Muskegon, Michigan, to grab a bite to eat through their drive-thru. While the overall experience was generally good, there were a few aspects that could use some improvement.
Drive-Thru Efficiency: 4/5 The drive-thru at Mr. Quick was quite efficient. I didn't have to wait too long in line, and the process was faster than many other fast-food establishments. The speed of service was definitely a positive aspect of my visit.
Food: 3/5 Mr. Quick offers a standard fast-food menu, including burgers, fries, and sandwiches. I ordered the Deluxe Burger, which was decent but not particularly memorable. The patty was cooked well, and the toppings were fresh, but it didn't stand out compared to other fast-food options. The fries were crispy but slightly greasy, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the food was acceptable but not exceptional.
Service: 4/5 The service at Mr. Quick's drive-thru was efficient and friendly. My order was taken promptly, and the food was handed to me relatively quickly. The employees were polite and attentive, which contributed to a pleasant customer experience. Their friendliness and prompt service were appreciated and made my visit more enjoyable.
Overall, my drive-thru experience at Mr. Quick in Muskegon, MI, was satisfactory. The food was average, but the efficient and friendly service made up for it. If you're looking for a quick meal on the go, Mr. Quick is a decent option. Overall...
Read moreEditing my review with my last few experiences at Mr. Quick. I went in last night with 20 min still to go before close. There was no one in drive thru or inside. I sat in my vehicle for a good few min before anyone even came across the speaker. I ordered a bargain bundle. When I got to the window the workers were less than enthused, to say the least. When I received the order, I thanked the girl and her reply was a cold stare and next to shoving the food into my hand and then turning and walking away. I realize I was close to closing time, but there was still plenty of time to make a bargain bundle before doors close. The burgers were extremely dry and the fries were floppy and still soaked with oil, then to top it off they were so salty I could hardly eat them. I used to love Mr Quick, and frequently went. However, the staff there are horrible anymore, and I won't be going anymore.
Mr. Quick is always a good burger joint. Sometimes it takes a while to get through the line, but this is because they do a bit of items to order. So, it largely depends on what you get or what the other patrons get in...
