I was very dubitative about making this review but I’m gonna make it as honest as possible Location: pretty weird. It’s kinda like a basement at the back side of a street mall. Nice decoration, all pink and white, the manicure white chairs are weird tho, I sat in one that was like broken. Doesn’t have ventilation at all. Service: this is where the weird part comes. I booked my dip powder appointment a couple weeks in advance. She had like a 50% off promo so I thought why not, I should give it a try. I even asked her to send me the whole menu of services to see if I wanted to get something extra and to be aware of all the extra charges. I think a “complicated shape” shouldn’t be a round shape. The only shape she doesn’t charge extra is the square one… I still thought it was ok, everyone works different. Then she also charges extra for nails extensions… also weird because usually whenever you get dip powder or Acrylics, those are included… I still thought it was ok and I was completely willing to pay for it. She only has an approximate of 10 different (very different) colors of dip powder… doesn’t have a palette so you just have to imagine what’s gonna be the final color. The real issue came when I asked her what was going to be the total price, even tho I paid the TOTAL in advance at the moment of the reservation, and she kept giving me the amount without the promo she had going on and kept adding g the amount that was already paid. I asked her if the promo applied to those “extra charges” and she said yes but kept insisting on the full amount. Everything was just so odd… I was never NEVER disrespectful, I was only trying to know what was going to be my new total discounting the amount I paid a few weeks before but she totally lost it. LOST IT. She told me she wasn’t feeling comfortable and that I had to leave. I completely respect her space, but, is that costumer service? I don’t think so. You feel threatened just bc someone asked you for the prices? Well, You shouldn’t… There was definitely a reason why I felt a weird vibe since I got to the studio and why a studio with capacity for at least 10 people and on a weekend was completely empty. Can’t give an honest review about her actual work but I can for sure about her work ethic. If you still want to risk it and try out this place, make sure you don’t ask about prices, let her charge you whatever she thinks she can. Bonus: she returned me through Venmo whatever I paid plus something for “gas compensation”… that was ok I guess, but the hour I lost trying to find the place, checking the colors etc etc can’t come back. Oh and, of course she was very aggressive and rude when I asked her to return me immediately my advance deposit. SAVE AND APPRECIATE YOUR TIME, GO...
Read moreMy first time I got Gel X and french tip (design), and it looked gorgeous. I've never had Gel x before, and it's essentially acrylics without acrylics. Instead of the fake nail going at the end of the nail, it covers the entire nail with gel that hardens under UV light. Then, it was painted normal shellac/gel nail paint. I chose a color similar to my skin tone as the base and a glittery pink (#214) for the tip. The french tip is considered a design. She only took an hour for the entire appointment, which was great because I was worried it might've taken a while. These nails dont feel like im going to break my entire nail off if i use them like acrylics. They are comfortable and feel like a real nail, so i am aware of them (im not stabbing stuff on accident), and i could tell these were gonna last me a while.
I work in a dental office, so this style of clean and neutral is perfect for me.
The owner is so sweet. We just talked and talked and talked. The vibe was so relaxing. The studio she uses is adorable and comforting, and i was even offered a drink while she did my nails (how cute is that?)
Second time, I came in because a nail came off after a week and half, maybe 2 weeks. I was honestly shocked at how painless the nail popped off. I've never had a fake nail that didn't hurt. To be fair, I was being rough with my hands over the weekend, and came in at the beginning of the week for a full set, design, removal of previous set, and a deluxe pedicure with gel. Pedicure was amazing, I asked for gel because it'll last way longer than regular paint. The chairs are massage chairs! No design on my toes, but a french tip design on my fingernails with black. It looks so classy and fancy.
Her prices are bit up there, but I don't think I would trust anyone else with my nails or my time. She really makes sure you are happy with the results.

Read moreMatthew who is the manager of this shop is amazing (as are the nail techs)! He text me me the day I made my appointment, checked to see what I was wanting, and then sent my inspo pics to my nail tech. The tech that did my nails was awesome! I wish I could remember her name, but she's from SC and she was darling! I told her what I wanted, and she had a full set on me in under 45 minutes! They're absolutely beautiful, and she did such a great job! The nails are so well done! They cured extremely solid, with beautiful shape, and they're incredibly thin. The nails are also extremely affordable! I'm just so happy I found this shop! After my appointment Matthew text me and asked how I liked my nails, how my appointment went, and just checked to make sure I was happy about everything (talk about customer service!!). Not only that, but his nail techs speak so highly of him as well. The shop was beautiful, in a great part of town that's easy to get to, and convenient to me coming in from 9th and 9th in SLC. I'll definitely be going back, and I already made my next 3 appointments (which you can conveniently do online). Thank you so much for the great experience you guys! I'm so happy with your talent! Keep up the...
