I lived at Ridgeview for 9 months with 2 roommates. The apartments seem nice and spacious at first glance but it is the management that really kills this place. Rent is due the 3rd every month, during the month of December we get a notice on our door on Thursday the 31st at 5:00 saying that the office will be closed the starting the 2nd and for about a week. It says rent is due before the 3rd and a hefty (about $95) fee will apply if paid late. We are all college students and were with our families for Christmas luckily one of us had to grab something from the apartment and was there when the note was posted. All of us were scrambling to get up the the bank to put the money in early not only that I was counting on a check from work on the second to pay the months rent. We just wrote the check and gave it to them (not even in the office we had to slide it under the door) postdated with a note saying explicitly not to cash it until the third when the money would be available. The property manager has the audacity to email me saying that they do not allow postdated checks but will let this one slide. I would have been fine with all of this if they had given us at least a week notice, they didn't even give us a day. It seems like they were deliberately trying to scam people into paying a huge late fee. And every month when you try to pay rent there is always a sign at the door saying "will be back in 15, 30, or 1 hr" one day my roommate came down to a 15 minute sign and came back in 15 minutes and it had changed to be a 30 minute sign this continued on 3 more time until he ran into a man saying he was the apartment cleaners and for 2 hrs had been coming back to the door trying to talk to the property manager with the same problem he said he had working there for months and never was able to catch her DURING FREAKING OFFICE HOURS. And when I emailed her about them never being available she said I should just slide the checks under the door. I do not like to do this because I like to know she gets them and they aren't going to get "lost" and we end up paying. After playing this stupid game for so many months I started to feel that she does this to try to get people to pay late and pay the late fees. It is all so ridiculous. Seriously never live here unless you want to get scammed out of your ass. The day our lease ended there I was so happy. BUT WAIT THERES MORE! A few weeks after our lease ended we get a "deposit deposition" in the mail charging us outrageous prices for cleaning of the apartment all totaling up to $423 were so pissed especially since we believed that our original deposit wasn't used. We emailed her and asked her were the hell our deposit money was and told her we would be speaking to a lawyer because this was clearly them trying to milk us for more money. But on closer inspection of our lease the deposit (that our property manager literally called a security deposit when we discussed it with her)Was called a "processing fee" they took our money in the beginning for nothing and now we have to pay these fees of $423 for no reason. They are liars, scammers, just terrible people that steal from people using legal loopholes....
Read morePerfect apartment for those who want to be HASSLED!!! I contacted this HELL HOLE November of 2012, when I went to have a tour the first lady who worked there named Kara showed me around and I loved it. Very clean and new, rent was quoted at $979. Never was I told there was a MANDATORY cable FEE of $80 with comcast. That didn't start us off on the right foot. When I went to speak to the same lady who signed me up, turned out she had QUIT! A new lady was working named Sara. I discussed this issue with Sara and she said she couldn't do squat. She also reminded me rent was due on the 5th. Come December 4th I got a NOTICE on my door of a late FEE. Which totaled $120!! Went to the office and guess what, Sara no longer worked there. It was now another idiot named CURTIS. Tried to get my fee's lowered and he wouldn't budge. He said rent is due on the 1st and wouldn't help knowing the previous MANAGER SCREWED me over. He is the most DIFFICULT person to work with. He is a MANIPULATIVE manager and will SAY anything you want to hear just to get you off his back. He wont FOLLOW THROUGH with what he says. Had to speak to his manager named BOBBI and what a peach that lady is. The management is SO BAD that i'm surprised they have other properties. The neighbors are stuck up prudes and drove me crazy with their dog. I decided half way through my year lease that i'd rather have someone take over my lease. Curtis said he could help me and that my apartment was always wanted by others since it was a main level. When it came to moving out he said he found someone to replace my unit. A week later after he told me the good news, he called me and said the deal went bad and he no longer could have my unit rented. He will say anything to DECEIVE YOU I still MOVED OUT and was expecting a bill from Curtis of the fee's that would come with moving EARLY. He never sent me a bill and 2 weeks after I moved out, I received a collection call for bad housing debt. He never had the balls to contact me to set up payment plans and is supposed to give you 30 days to respond which he didn't. Instead he sent it straight to collections and my minimum payment is $500 monthly for 4 months. What a lazy manager. didn't have the decency to call me and try and work something out with me within the 30 days from moving out. He sent it straight to the big boys... THIS PLACE IS A JOKE. Save your money and put a down payment on a HOUSE. That's practically what i paid towards these apartments. And the collection agency NCC business services is a NIGHTMARE!!!! BEWARE OF ALLIANCE PROPERTIES, RIDGEVIEW PROPERTIES...
Read moreWe submitted an application for an apartment at your complex. The lady made us put a holding feed down on Friday 10/13/23 to hold the apartment. She then called me told me she had to leave early and could not process our application and would have us an approval by Monday. We got the approval on Monday they had raised the move in cost to where we couldn't afford to move in at the time because we did put the moving date for October 25th she put our date for October 16th. I told her we couldn't do that till we got paid she said sorry we must move in on the 16th if not then we had to relieve the apartment. I said that was fine we couldn't afford that I would just like to get the 250 back since it's within the time frame she told me that it was longer than 24 hours so we were not allowed to get our refund back. How could we get our refund back when they were closed on the weekends the employee left early before processing our paperwork and giving us any information if we would unknown all of these costs on that day or at least had our stuff the next day we would have canceled within the 24 hour period but it's kind of hard to cancel when you don't get the information you're needed 3 days later and are closed on the weekend with no possibility way of contact. Hopefully this gets resolved if not I am possessing a claim with KSL and I will be going to get part this is a really bad thing to do to people that are struggling in these times 250 May not seem a lot to you but for some people it is a lot of money and means weeks worth of food for our children I understand this means nothing to you and all you care about is your property not...
