JJ Donuts — Restaurant in North Salt Lake

Really, really good donuts! I have to talk myself OUT of going to JJ's often because they're so good, but I still end up there about once a week. JJ's raised donuts with the glaze, chocolate, maple, pink sprinkles, or etc., are just delicious. The dough is always perfect; soft but with a nice bite and chew to it, and always cooked to perfection. I have sampled JJ's maple donuts (my favorite) many, many times and each time the quality has been so spot on and consistent. I'm impressed to say the least. We actually did a head to head taste test between JJ's and Banbury Cross in Centerville and found JJ's were much more preferred by us and our neighbors. Now, it seems like JJ'S is a fairly small operation and their selection may be slightly less than some others. But they only opened in like March '22 so I think they're on the right track. I have to say, these donuts are delicious!!! I stop by in the morning on my way to work and I can say without reservation that they have the best donuts around, in my opinion. Nice selection and fresh.

Beyond the outstanding donuts there is one other item I would like to mention because it's plentiful at JJ's and that's the friendly staff. I believe it's family owned and operated, just a hunch, and you can tell because nobody cares like family. Kind, respectful, business owners.

If you haven't been to JJ's you're missing out. Best donuts in Utah. When I say the best, I'm not exaggerating. They are on Highway 89 in North Salt Lake and worth the drive. Their staff is so friendly and their shop is always clean! I've been to other donut shops and ... well lets just say I had to walk out.
