Anyone traveling! You want to visit ILC TRAVEL OUTFITTERS!!! When a dear friend of ours learned that we were traveling out of country for 23 months, she said, âYOU HAVE TO GO VISIT the ILC Travel Outfitters store in North Salt Lake, Utah, USA!!!â She and her extended family have used ILC Travel Outfitters for years. After hearing our friendâs detailed description and showering accolades of praise, my wife and myself made the trip to Utah. WE ARE SO THANKFUL WE CHOSE TO LISTEN AND ACT!!! We called ahead to make an appointment. The moment we walked into ILC Travel Outfitters, we could feel the genuine goodness and the positive energy and passion of owner and founder Mark and his assistant Becky. Whether you are traveling to any overseas destination, or, to anywhere here in North America, even including outdoor camping, Mark and Becky teach amazing state of the art methods for packing all clothing and travel items. They demonstrate the very best protection from mosquitos, fleas, bedbugs, ticks, etc., (which does not include DEET), and the best technology (used on the International Space Station) for water purification. Mark and Becky also helped us select the ideal clothing made of the best materials specific to the climate where we are going. I already mentioned the creative, ingenious methods that Mark and Becky demonstrate and teach for organizing and module packing everything you personally want to carry with you for your work assignment, travel destination,, or vacation. You will be able to make all of your journeys with confidence because ILC TRAVEL OUTFITTERS will give you the training you want and need to be prepared for wherever you go. Thank you, Mark and...
Read moreI would give them negative reviews if I could. Their young sales associate was SO rude. I went with my daughter who was headed to Vietnam for a mission. We had asked other missionaries there what she needed (because the store owner basically said we needed EVERYTHING and others that served there said no). So we went in and got what we needed. When the sales associate heard where she was going, he said no to things in our shopping basket and literally removed them and put them back on the shelf. He told us what we were going to do is bring in all of her clothes to have them treat them so they were done right (we treated them on our own just fine as per the recommendation of others). He went and got the owner who gave us the hard sale and basically said my daughter would get so sick if we didn't buy everything he said we needed (which, again, we'd verified with missionaries there that she didn't need them) I was hoping to give them feedback on what missionaries were finding useful there but they were so arrogant and rude. My daughter will never set foot in the store again - she was so frustrated. Can't support a store that operates on fear and guilt on parents sending their kids to the other side...
Read moreIt is a pleasure to write a letter of recommendation with a ten-star review for the staff at ILC Travel Outfitters. Let's agree there are lots of brands and models of luggage and travel accessories to chose from. Mark and Becky excel in this profession because they first seek to understand the needs of their customers instead of just asking for a sale. For Mark and Becky, customer service is a lifestyle, not a special event. Both understand that customer service is more than remembering a name. They learn the needs of each customer and then focus on the very best solution to exceed those needs.
To keep it real, I recently accepted an overseas assignment with my employer. After checking, it didn't take long to realize I would need more luggage to make the move. Becky took the time to understand the items I would be shipping. This allowed her to recommend a bag that I would have completely missed. The two bags I purchased surpassed every expectation, including at a favorable price.
Mark & Becky, THANK YOU again for not only a great customer service experience, but also for keeping your doors open during these difficult times. Keep up the great work! See you soon when I return from...
