R & G Food Basket — Attraction in Norwalk

Stay away, they will rip you off if you're not paying attention to your bill. I bought 3 tomatoes, 3 chilli Serrano, 3dz tortillas, small pack of 3 individual cookies and 6 pieces of bread the should have been somewhere around $10 but since I was not paying attention they double charged me for items which brought the bill to $14. And change. Then I went over to their cooked meals to buy 1/2 lbs of carnitas which they charged $8 but all I got was enough for two small tacos which most likely was given only 1/4 of a pound. Warning you stay away they will rip you off. Many years ago the same thing happened to me and my dad at this store. I thought maybe they've changed their ethics but they are still the same... I won't ever be come back to...

More of a small market that caters to Mexican or latino customers. There are good buys in produce with a great selection of chilis and spices. They have really good meat specials.
