Zimmerman Park — Attraction in Norwalk

I'm never at the park on the weekends nor during after school hours so this review doesn't count for those hours. BUT the reason this has 5 🌟 is because it's so quiet it's next to train tracks but u barely ever hear them. The cops are almost always passing by or chilling in the parking lot so it's relatively safe. There's a nice jungle gym and I've NEVER seen the bathrooms closed when the park is open which is fantastic 2 baseball fields nice open fields to the sides of those as well as most of a walkway that goes nearly around the whole park. 1 Basketball court at the end of the park. One of the other great things about this park is it's relaxing, there is only 1 entrance and exit so I don't have to worry about my kids getting lost or stolen. In my experience most people leave after an hour at the park and don't stay. No BBQ area that I've seen but it's possible that I just haven't seen them. Great place enough to say don't go there because it'll crowd up the place and I like it...

Nice park. its close to train tracks, they have baseball fields. there are games on the weekends , just not a fan of the player, some teams are older men playing that end up smoking and drink after (or during) a game. Once we went there on a weekend and there was a game going on, there was a fight the broke out within a team the fight wasnt with the opposite team a player punches his own team member, in the same day during that game when we were leaving i saw a player from idk what time exposing his butt to rub something on it (all players that day...

My daughter and I went there last Sunday. The park is generally clean and grass area kept trimmed. Unfortunately, there were beer bottles near the mini basketball court despite the notice at the entrance that alcoholic drinks are strictly prohibited in the park. There was also a young couple (teenagers) who are being intimate on the concrete bench and later moved on to the grassy area on the far end...
