Aikiahi Nails In the past I liked the service of Le and Taira did great.

My Last 2 visit was very upsetting. Owner was off. The person who is in charge been increasing cost without my consent. I was a steady customer doing steady services done . And a very good customer that would give generous tips for example $35-40.00. For good service. My last 2 visit was involving getting my nails done. First visit: I had gel color change and pedicure.also she added on glitter nice touch.I did not require that.Paid over $70.00.+tip The owner daughter did my nails . I questioned myself when I got home. Wow that cost was pretty high. But I just let go. I like the service. And I was a steady customer. Second visit: 3weeks I came in wanted a quick service. Requesting color change only. Gel color and color change on toe nails only.the nail tech at first was putting some wrong colors for my nails until she got it right I told her if she can add the same glitter to my nails she said ok. After it was done the color was nice but the amount of glitter don't match the other side of my hands.more then the other. I just let it go because I was already running late. When I got to the cashier to pay she said my bill was $48.00 . I said why is it so high the casher said because the glitter was$15,00. If they told me earlier I wouldn't let them put it on. I rather used $15,00add on for a pedicure instead of glitter. Prices are always changing i been paying for gel color only $32,00 for a while and later i found out the cashier said it was $25. Everytime I come there I'm paying different amounts. And the employee are all charging different amounts. Just a heads up before you get your nails or other services done ask for the cost first. You don't want them to charge the outrageous add ons Without you knowing. Thats bad Business. And being a business owner that's why I decided to move on. And take my business elsewhere. Even having a price list. Still charging different. To the owner, just a tip get your employee all on the same prices. If different amounts have Courtesy please let your customers know. Upfront. I grew up in the Aikahi Park area, so I'm a bit biased, but I think personally that this is one of the nicest little strip malls on Oahu. There's a Safeway--only open until midnite daily, and not big enough to have a pharmacy in it but they have some of the nicest staff I've ever seen at a Safeway. There's also a speciality liquor store, a nail salon, a dialysis clinic, a Boston's Pizza, and holding down the end opposite Safeway is a super friendly and almost never so busy u would wait more than 10 minutes Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU) After Safeway, if u continued to head away from NFCU, there's a Firestone, and a Chevron gas station. Hidden on the backside of the shopping center are a few more shops, most notably The Regulation--a barber shop specializing in Marine "high and tights"--and Feather and Fur--a vet clinic that is mostly described in online reviews as both "way too expensive" as well as" the only place i trust to take care of my furry baby." Beware the extremely complex parking rules here. Met a friend here and we were in separate vehicles. Bought a coffee from Safeway and went over to the marine base for an hour in one car. Came back and the car we left was towed! Three hour parking signs everywhere and when I asked security he said parking is customers only. I told him I bought stuff before I left and was planning on eating Tamuras Poke for lunch and he said that you must remain on premises to park here. Nothing says this anywhere just says 3 hour parking. I was a customer too! $300 to get my car back from Kalihi.
