Honestly, I know we have alot of Asian based markets here on island... Don Quijote, pacific Market, Marukai, Seafood City, China town Market place, Palama Market, Nijiya, farmers markets, etc. ANYWAYS!!! point is, another one has been added to the Market listing among the competition. HMART! it's basically the newest Market in Town and it has soooooooo many different varieties of foods that you don't see on island everyday, Japanese candies that you can hardly find anywhere! Sake you don't see on the island markets everyday! Soju! Basically a whole different assortment of Asian based alcoholic drinks! You can find bentos! You can find different assortments of ice creams! And other cultural Asian based foods that you can probably only find from outside the country! Point being, and you get it at this point, it's a A WHOLE NEW MARKET WITH A WHOLE NEW VARIETY OF GOODS! This is something you don't want to miss out on. Also...all hype aside... Be careful if you're tall.... items that are hanging... will and maybe hit your head. Sorry, this store is more for short sized people like myself. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm sorry, I just couldn't help but bust out laughing...when my TALL boyfriend was being hit by hanging items...
Read more..would have given more stars if there weren't so much confusion trying to get into the Food Court!!!
..after I made my purchase I went outside to get my free gifts and had my daughter go put everything in the car. We asked the Security Guard at the "Exit" if we could enter thru there and he directed us to go to the "entrance". Once at the "entrance" I asked the Security Guard if we could enter to go to the Food Court since I was already done shopping and he wanted us to wait in line AGAIN!!! JUST TO GET INTO THE FOOD COURT!!! The H-Mart employee that was at the entrance overheard I just wanted to go to the Food Court and he instructed us to go back to the "Exit"!!! I told him what the Security Guard said but he tells me to follow him and he'll let us enter thru the "Exit". At the "Exit" the Security Guard was a little baffled seeing us back there again trying to enter thru but the H-Mart employee told him it was ok for us to go thru since we were just going to the Food Court!!! At this time I was "hangry" since I am "handicap" and use a cane to assist me to walk and I wasn't about to return to the...
Read moreDid a quick run into H Mart to grab a couple of things- I was short on time so I wasn’t able to buy all the things I wanted but the next time I come with my husband I will make sure to take pics of all the perishable and refrigerated foods. I like H Mart because it’s easy to navigate and there is a vast variety of frozen foods as well as good produce. Prices are a broad range. Most food stuffs are reasonably priced and the variety of products is pretty good. The rice bowls and some ceramic wear to me was quite pricey ($7.99 for a rice bowl 😓) but most of their offerings were priced fair and I enjoyed finding things I cant find in my neighborhood grocery store. Especially frozen goods plus drink and snacks. I grabbed some melon cream crackers, ramune and Pretz for snacks. 😍 Clean interior and cashier transaction was quick and smooth. All in all an enjoyable shopping experience. Looking for to spending more time leisurely in my next trip 🤗
