Right off the bat, I could easily say that my wedding at Hawaii Polo Club was phenomenal! The venue coordinator Sugako was one of the best people I had worked with for the wedding. Her response time was quick and she was always able to answer any random questions I threw at her, which really helped the planning process. She was very sweet, accommodating and willing to work with any ideas I had. I contacted her in March of 2022 and had my wedding in June 2023 and she followed through with me every step of the way. I was initially really stressed out about planning a destination wedding, but she was able to give me resources and a list of vendors she recommended which gave me a great place to start. She really helped make my dream wedding come true! As for the venue itself, it was absolutely perfect! I would describe it as easy-breezy, laid back, countryside beach vibes. If you're looking for something casual but breathtaking this is THE one! I don't take that statement lightly because I was very thorough in my venue research for about 6 months before I committed. I stumbled upon Hawaii Polo Club through a simple google search of venues where I inquired and compared amongst many others. I was very specific about wanting a beach (on the sand) wedding for my ceremony which this place offers (you also have the option to go on the lawn if you're not into that). This venue checked off many boxes for me in what I was looking for as far as views and bang for my buck. I was able to have a beach wedding with decorations and seating right there on the sand without needing a beach permit because it's their own private beach. I also found that they had many other things included or available to rent right there on their location. Unlike other places, they had round tables provided as well as chairs, a tent over the reception space, bar stools and bar tables, a bar stand, extra tables for decorations, a dance floor and many other things you wouldn't think you would need to worry about. I was able to rent additional things like tiki torches, twinkly lights for the reception space, lawn games (that were super fun during cocktail hour), but best of all the horse rental. This was another thing that sold me on the venue. I was able to rent out a horse for 2 hours and I had her incorporated in a few parts of my wedding which was SUPER cool! I had the idea of walking up to the aisle with Clara the horse and it was such an entrance. I also was able to have her in some of our couple portrait shots which were beautiful. After our photos she went to the cocktail hour where all the guests were and everyone loved taking photos with her. The photos were just beautiful, besides it being Oahu, it was so cool to be able to get such a variety of backgrounds in our photos. Not only did we get beach shots, we also had grassy forest type shots, ones on the polo lawn, or even at the clubhouse with the mountains in the back. Not one bad photo! Overall my husband and I are beyond happy with our experience and loved every minute of our wedding and even our guests told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to, which...

To start, I was originally excited for this experience. I had known about the cancellation policy and knew the rules, I didn’t have intentions to cancel. My best friend and I are on are senior trip and then we will be parting ways for college. Yesterday she had hurt her leg fairly bad and it was evident we would not be able to make it. Their policy states you can get a certificate within 48 hr if you have a doctors note. I find this a bit ridiculous because why would we go to the doctor and occur medical bills when it’s an obvious pulled muscle. I wasn’t expecting a refund, however it would’ve been nice for some sort compensation or at least good communication. I had called yesterday and asked if there was anything to be done. The person said they would talk to their manager and proceeded to hang up. Which I was a bit taken back by because she never informed me she was going to call back, I thought I was just going to be put on hold. Or she could have told me the manager was gone so I’d get a called back later. However, later yesterday evening I tried to call back before they closed to get some sort of answer, even if it was as simple as “Hey, there’s nothing we can do”. Their phone went to voicemail and there mailbox was full. I tried to call this morning and once again no answer. I don’t think it should take more than a day to talk to a manager. Finally I had my mom call and they said they couldn’t do anything. If it was that simple I would have appreciated them letting us know.I think they just say that to get you off their hands. My main point is things happen. We didn’t anticipate having to cancel. If we had gotten an answer earlier we could have tried to get someone else to buy our tickets, but with lack of communication it made it impossible. Now we are out on the money and feel like we were treated very rudely. Would not recommend unless your okay with accepting the fact that when life happens you will be ignored. Like I said we were exciting to go so this is just even more...

My husband and I did a beach front horseback ride on our recent vacation to Hawaii and absolutely loved it. I’d like to start off by saying that I was hesitant at first when booking because of some of the negative reviews. If you can follow simple directions that are spelled out on the booking check-out page, you will have no issues and will enjoy the ride! Definitely give yourself enough time if coming from Waikiki. Some of the reviews complained about being late…you are saying you will be there on time and Hawaii is known for the traffic on the island. You can't expect a tour to wait for you when you don't leave on time!

Anyway…Jessica was our tour guide, and she was amazing! We also chatted and did the safety review with another girl (I believe her name was Phoebe) who was also very nice. Our horses were so sweet and gentle – I felt safe the entire time and really enjoyed the ride. I had a really nice time chatting with Jessica throughout the ride. She taught us a lot about the beach and surrounding areas. She introduced us to many of the other horses on the property as we rode by, and even her cats (I’m a cat lady lol). At the end of the ride, she took some really nice photos of my husband and I and we were able to give the horses some treats when we got back.

I’d highly recommend Hawaii Polo Trail Rides if you are looking for a peaceful and...

I don’t recommend going in Hawaii Polo Club, I went there two times, the both times they gave me a horses that had a cover over his eyes! These second time I asked to give me one without for the picture and they didn’t want it! The three employees gave me three different excuses one said it she had blue eyes and it was sensitive from the sun, the other employee said is to protect mosquitoes! One of the employee said that when it was picture time the guide could remove it for the picture and when I asked the guide to remove it she tried but she didn’t know how and she said the horse had eye cancer! I think if they going to lie everyone should stick with the same lie! I love riding horses but when I go back I will find somewhere else to go! The only reason I didn’t gave up at first it was because they said they would remove it the cover from the horse eyes for the pictures but they just fooled me! Also the guide person didn’t seem she knew how to ride a horse, she was almost falling out of the horse all the time I’m so frustrated , don’t speed your money in this place it’s not worth it!
