I love this shorter technical park. My only gripe is that the last 3 times i've been, theres been more people walking their dogs on the course than actually playing. They stop and take a leak here, then there and repeat. There's a dog park you have to pass on the way in and multiple open fields as well as a path around the park. I've never seen someone walk their dog on a golf course, and none of them are ever playing. As you can see, this picture is 10 feet from the basket. It's still a fun course. Just watch out for the hazards. Somebodys gonna have to break their ankle before they repair the tee boxes. You can lose a few disks here as a beginner if you're not careful. Excellent shade for hot days.

Kayaking Review This is a great park area for kayaking. There's plenty of parking, a nice covered picnic area, and some "porch swings" set up along the shore. The kayak launch is very nice and is set up for handicapped users too. The launch puts you into Calf Gully Creek which makes it's way to the Intercoastal Waterway, or in the opposite direction, to a more quiet setting and some marsh area. Lots of Osprey, Anhinga, and silver bellied gas flyers (airplanes) - there's an airport beside the park.

Nice park, and great dog park. Other than the tiny biting knats, it is a great place to take the dogs. There is an older house that they need to fix up and maintain, but other than that, a great place to visit.

Im editing my old review that i posted below because i moved away for 2 years and came back and this place looks alot better you can actually sit on the benches now and the grass is always mowed and looks really nice and the sidewalk parts of the walking trail are always clear of debris so you can actually walk through the wooded parts my only complaint is the bathrooms are always locked when I go so I have to go up to the other park to use the bathroom.....................old review.....Not taken care of swings dont look safe and are very dirty with green moss or mold or something and bathrooms are always full of spiders, spider webbs...

Love the dog park. My dog and her friends have plenty of shaded areas to run and play. One pen for small dogs and one for larger dogs. Although most small dogs are brought to play with the large dogs without an issue. The kayak launch is difficult to use. Only able to get in and out easily at high tide. Low tide is not an option. A nice little disc golf course to play on if you are into that. And some pretty areas to just sit and enjoy nature. I would like to see some playground equipment...
