I don't know Oakdale very well had enough money to get my daughter a present in plenty of Taco Bell and whatever we felt like being looked for events in oak so the bright side is it's free but it looks like a little antique store so we were in and out but either way appreciated the fact I had somewhere to go inside and show my daughter something that we didn't really care about for free all she cared about was spending time with her daddy on her birthday so thank you I'm only giving the rating that low amount because I wouldn't suggest you go there looking for a good time But you know what I'm not gonna be like that I'm gonna give you the full star rating Because if you're a country boy you'll love this place I noticed they had so many things you could buy for your horses...
Read moreI attended the Oakdale Rodeo on my way down to camp at Death Valley and then hit the Cowboy Museum on my way home. Happy I made a detour back to Oakdale to check this out. I just wish I had visited the museum before the rodeo and learned about the rules of the rodeo events because I was awfully confused, yet highly entertained. And yes, it was my first rodeo.
The museum is unique and you can see that there’s a lot of care and pride put into the exhibits. The woman working when I visited was so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I really appreciated talking with her!
