Wish I could give zero stars. Absolutely the worse haircut I’ve ever received and I’ve never seen less attention given by the barber to try and make the haircut look good.
I scheduled a 30 minute haircut with Van. He then proceeded to rush through the haircut as fast as possible, taking the 4 guard too far up the side of my head and leaving untrimmed areas with the scissors. The entire haircut took about 8 minutes - why did I pay for 30?
I would never come back here again. Van did the cut as fast as possible with very little communication during the cut and he had no concept of how to shape the cut properly for my head. For $35 I would expect more than 8 minutes of work and some attention give to where to use the trimmer rather than blindly cutting up the...
Read moreI don't want to hurt their rating too bad, but I showed up at a little before 6pm and the door was locked, despite several signs that indicated that they should be open until 7. I had even called beforehand, and listened to their automated message telling me their hours.
To make it even more frustrating, there was a woman inside who completely ignored me. I pulled on the door, went and double checked the sign, pulled on the door again and gave a little knock, but she didn't even look up from her phone.
Not a great experience. I'm from out of town, so I won't be stopping back to see how well they cut hair, when they are open. I took my business a block up the street to "bettercuts", where they actually stay open until the...

I warned him about cutting too much shorter because I need to grow the hair out in order to weigh down the curls and he took that as an invitation to remove the curls, which was 1 1/2 inches of hair! Partway through I haveb to interrupt him to tell him to stop--he was taking too much hair, but by that point it couldn't be fixed. I was so uncomfortable and wanted to leave right then and there and just pay for someone else to fix the damage. I told him I came in for half an inch, And he said, "why didn't you tell me"? Because "ends" are like 1/4 inch! I expect a professional to not take such liberty....
